I genuinely wish the best for Ren however i don't want the industry to taint him, I firmly believe Ren can do this without big industry players. Raw creative talent like Ren hasn't visited our lives for a long time now, and he isn't afraid to be experimental and work outside the box.
I think that a lot of people forget that Ren is still unwell and undergoing intensive treatment and that this must have been an immense effort for him!
I cried when Kyle said "Ren is so damn important". It is a compliment I am sure he would love. Being important is everything. He also is so much needed in music in music industry, idek if he knows about his essential contribution in opening people's eyes and minds. He is important, you're right.
This is an artistic masterpiece! Ren said in his live stream that there is only one cut in this entire video and that was because of the part with the water. Sam’s cinematography is stunning and REN’s performance and musicality are phenomenal! Ren wrote everything including the piano and strings. So much heart and talent in our boi ❤. I have a theory on Ren. Bear with me here. I believe in the Talent Fairy. She comes shortly after birth of some artists, pinches some Talent Dust out of her Talent Bucket, and sprinkles talent over the baby. Mozart, Van Gogh, Hendrix, you name it, they all were sprinkled over by the Talent Fairy. But on that fateful day of March 1990, the Talent Fairy had enough. It's a tough and lonely job, you know, nobody ever thanking her... So she hovered over Ren's crib flapping her little wings, said "F*ck it!", and *dumped the whole bucket of Talent Dust on him* . And then she quit the job. This not only explains the insane talent of Ren, but also the lack of any other creative artist around nowadays. That's my theory, and I stand by it. Ren wrote all of the music for this including the orchestral parts. He said he practiced quite a bit to get the piano intro right. He also said that this isn't precisely a one take, it has a single cut in it, but it had to due to some logistics and time constraints. He explained it all in his Twitch live stream after the video dropped. He's really proud of this one, and should be. It's another great example of Ren's pure musical ARTISTRY.

He said in a stream that it was a one take up until when the camera swings around the back of the wheel chair and the only reason is because they only had 1 chance to get the ending, with the rain. They couldn't just remove the rain or dry the suit. If they needed to go again, they would have to wait until the next day so he said it just wasn't possible. It is 100% live. I have been listening to this song on repeat for a lot of hours now, but the one thing i couldn't get out of my head, was wanting to see you react to it. I am not typically a dude that watches reactions, with two exceptions. Knox Hill and you. Thank you for being awesome guys.
I hope that I can articulate this correctly. One of my absolute favourite things to see with regards to Ren's music is when reactors are able to see the importance of his message so vividly that they are willing to happily and humbly forego the basic premise(s) of their channels and allow the viewer to simmer in what they just saw. Another such example is a voice instructor who was reacting to one of his songs (can't remember which one at the moment). She simply indicated that the message was too important to analyse vocal technique, and allowed it to stand on its own merit. There are times when you can elevate your reaction to the extreme by simply throwing any preconceived agenda out the door, IMNSHO.
'There's our boy'....he came with a message for us ALL. the last week of riddles to win more of these pieces of paper we invented to be 'valuable' are nothing but a tool that control us... one of my earliest memories was getting a coin or 2 from the 'tooth fairy' when our baby teeth fell out...the first steps into that money game... Ren got number 1 in the UK album charts last night. For an independent artist, it's an incredible achievement. Add in all the health issues and obstacles he faces, and it's just beyond amazing. There is a video of him finding out which made me cry with joy 😊 . I'll find the link and send it in a reply. I'm so proud of him and the global community(RENagades) he's managed to cultivate. He's insanely talented and deserves everything he is getting g at the moment. From the start it was setup as a 1 shot. Ren is the one in the intro playing the Piano. The guy that takes his place is actually Knox Hill if I am not mistaken. From what I saw from the behind the scenes the scene at the Mirror with Bag being pulled off was not Cut. It was just amazingly filmed!

I was completely shocked to silence after the premiere of this masterpiece. All I could think of was that if Netflix doesn’t give Ren and Sam their own show, then they’re 100% stupid. This is some of the best storytelling ever. BTW I would really love to see you react to Crutch feat. Bibi. It’s an older song from before Ren was finally diagnosed correctly and was written after a breakdown following multiple emergency trips to the hospital. It is heart wrenching and utterly stunning. It’s one of my personal favourites from Ren. Also I think metal head Kyle will appreciate it especially. It is pure artistic expression of emotions 🐐🐰🕳️

Thank you guys for reacting to this one and for continuing to support Ren and other artists that have an important message like FIR, Tom MacDonald, Adam Calhoun, and NF. I know there are more but those are the ones I'm most familiar with. Ren is that voice that doesn't come around very often and the only people I can think of that have come close to having the charisma, talent and genuine belief in their message are 2Pac, Kurt Cobain, and John Lennon and we lost both of them way too early. We very well could've lost Ren a few years ago but he refused to give up or give in and he was persistent about finding a way to treat what was making him sick even if it was too late for himself. I believe he went thru all that he has to make him tough enough to stand for his message against anyone or anything and as long as he stays true to himself and his craft then I will do anything I can to support him. Again, thank you for your reactions and for helping to start the conversations that are needed these days and I am here to support you guys just like I support Ren! ❤❤❤

Ren is that voice that doesn't come around very often and the only people I can think of that have come close to having the charisma, talent and genuine belief in their message are 2Pac, Kurt Cobain, and John Lennon and we lost both of them way too early. We very well could've lost Ren a few years ago but he refused to give up or give in and he was persistent about finding a way to treat what was making him sick even if it was too late for himself. I believe he went thru all that he has to make him tough enough to stand for his message against anyone or anything and as long as he stays true to himself and his craft then I will do anything I can to support him.

Something I noticed is that jimmy is wearing a bag over his head and he says that he’s an exaggeration version of all of us so he doesn’t have a face and I think it’s just something people don’t necessarily notice and his songs nearly always connect to each other
