hey Carenza really enjoyed the video, a bit disappointed that you stopped making them either way i found it realy informative. I've got a questions that i hope you can help me with 1. how much free time do you get a day/week 2. how much did you get paid 3. what are the common expenses to expect as a holiday rep 4. how long was your contract for 5. where did you go to apply 6. any beneficial skills or qualifications that will increase my chances of getting hired 7. do i have to pay for accommodation and flights 8. And FINALY!!!! was it actually worth it.
Hi, I have my interview next week for a baby club rep! Any tips for the interview? They’ve asked me to prep a song/book activity and present it in the same way I would for the children/babies! I have a few ideas but any tips would be appreciated xx
hey, Yayy that’s exciting!! Well I would just say go into it with confidence even if you’re not feeling it you can fake it! Don’t over think it either, just act how you would with babies/kids anyway. For my interview all I did was sing ‘5 speckled frogs’ with no props or costume. But some of the others properly dressed up and had props! Whatever you do will be fine I’m sure as long as you’re smiley and acting confident
Also you have a group part when you come up with something as a group and then present it so make sure you give ideas, don’t be quiet during this part. I had a notebook to write down the key notes so I was the one to present it after :)
@@CarenzaJeanie thank you so much! I was actually thinking before of doing 5 speckled frogs or old McDonald so that’s definitely made me feel better and I didn’t know about the group work so thank you for that, so helpful just knowing what I’m going in too! Xxx

Hi :) honestly I can’t remember the digital assessment at all i know it was quite informal and not difficult. For the group thing I just sang ‘5 speckled frogs’ in an animated way as if the people on the call were kids! Some people dressed up or had props but I didn’t use anything
hi, I'm thinking of doing this and how strict are they with the no piercings thing haha. I have my level 3 but would prefer to work with in the kids club and how long are the days, Is it around 40 hours a week. the thing I would be most scared of is flying out on my own and making friends but I'm sure once your there its pretty easy to make friends xx
hey, definitely apply and try it ! they were strict with piercings, I have loads in each ear I would take them out every single morning, the managers at my placement would check your jewellery most days (anklets, bracelets, literally everything). yeh they always need level 3's in the kids club too as there always has to be at least1 person with a level 3 to run a session. yep 40 hours a week but the shifts are broken up and quite short tbh. and yeah you're right you're literally forced to all be friends as you're all in the same position and living/working together so don't worry about that x
@@CarenzaJeanie ah right coz I applied for it for next year but didn't get it coz they said I didn't have the qualifications. so iv asked them to reconsider as I'm now doing a NCFE CACHE Level 3 award in childcare and education and also a paediatric first aid course. They have asked about the course but hopefully they get back to me soon over it 🤞x

Hiya what questions were on the digital assessment and what did you come up with for the group part of the interview xx

Is it easy to rent a card for the day and go into town?
yes I lived near 2/3 rental places, we would often rent a car or a quad bike and go exploring. it's just as easy to get the bus as well

actually at my placement not every week was 40hours, some was 36/37 just depended on the rota
Do you still work for TUI?
Hey! No, I did one season last summer :)
HI! Do you have a child qualification and if so what is the course called coz I would like to do this but need the qualifications first xx
To work in the kids club you don’t need any childcare qualifications or even any experience! For baby club you need Level 3 childcare
