I was so fortunate to actually be able to go to Edinburgh last year, it was such a pretty city, rich with history, aesthetic, and overall really cool and immaculate vibes god I really miss being able to travel :((
okay but if you like dark academia, Regensburg in Germany is a beautiful town with medieval, gothic and baroque architecture, as well as some of the oldest taverns in Germany and a large number of bookshops. My mom lives there and I used to go there for the holidays, but I couldn't this year unfortunately.
