Dark academia makes me so happy. It's the thought of learning, literature, my escape from reality. Putting my stress on paper, putting myself to use. Everything about this aesthetic is magnificent. It's just so nice to me, something about it

okay but if you like dark academia, Regensburg in Germany is a beautiful town with medieval, gothic and baroque architecture, as well as some of the oldest taverns in Germany and a large number of bookshops. My mom lives there and I used to go there for the holidays, but I couldn't this year unfortunately.

I was so fortunate to actually be able to go to Edinburgh last year, it was such a pretty city, rich with history, aesthetic, and overall really cool and immaculate vibes

Dark academia opened my eyes to a world I never thought existed. I've always loved the style of clothes, the hobbies, the music and the whole aesthetic but I never found the name of it or even the combination of these things. I am truly blessed by dark academia as it brings me a way to express myself.

This compilation took me back to when Dad told me one day that she made a promise to Mom if she drew a map for a D&D Oneshot, he'd take Mom & me to Europe once they've retired.
I don't know if he was just pulling our leg or if he was genuine about it, it's almost too good to be true, I just really hope the latter in which he's gonna pull through & me, mom, & I travel all over Europe comes true, cuz, my older sister's been there 3 (now 4) times while I've only been to the very tip of Canada.
