To be honest, I quite liked challenging myself to just play with the game's autosave checkpoints, since I was fairly confident that I could handle this game. I definitely admit that there was a couple of tricky spots that I did rely on it, though. Here in the Strider fight, I'm not 100% sure if it would have helped, since saving mid-fight might have put me in a really disadvantaged position.
