Lepinet is a mature 35 acre French carp lake, split into two venues - Lepinet North and Lepinet South. It is the destination for anglers wanting to pit their wits against a large French lake with a superb stock of big carp.

We were booked to go here this year but covid put a stop to it. Happy I've seen this so I go better equipped in 2022.

Considering the bottom and snags you would think leaders would be better for the fish to stop being cut off.

We agree and the lake have now changed the rules to allow leaders :-)
The new rule is as follows: Leadcore leaders are not allowed, but you can use safe abrasion resistant leaders (like the Korda safezone leaders) combined with drop off leads. In all instances, the lead must drop off safely should there be a break off
