Such a beautiful game. Although it can get very repetitive quickly, but it is fun to beat and smack enemies around. I wish that it had more exploration involved and being able to revisit old places.
This trilogy had to be the best games I’ve ever played including the Jak and daxter series. I hope they either make more soon or remaster them. These stories were just amazing and it’s such an underrated game. The voice actors brought these games to life too!
Around 2:29:35, with the bridge, I used to trick ppl and tell them to hurry up and run or the bridge was gonna break. I thought that was the funniest joke as a kid. 😂

Rewatching this, after years, and I feel like the new spyro game deserved to have new players that didn’t know spyro get to get a remastered version of each game, instead a after “ Okay, they kissed, we done, let’s make another that people don’t probably know about at all as a prologue with characters and voice acting I hate! This generation of Spyro was so weird. They tried so hard to try something new and hope it had the same success as the original games, but never did. It literally took a remake of the original three games to get the eyes back on Spyro again. Excluding Skylanders, which is meh
@@missyb1020 Well, in defense of the "new trilogy" (A New Beginning, Dawn of The Dragon, A Dragon's Tale), Insomniac games, which was the studio behind the original trilogy, originally wanted to go a darker and more mature route with Spyro but they decided to target a younger audience instead. Insomniac Games is known for making games with darker themes anyways. When Activision took over they decided to try something a little different, which in turn sort of brought the darker and more mature concept that Insomniac Games originally intended into creation. I grew up with the original trilogy and they hold a special place for me but when this "new" trilogy came out I played the hell out of it as well. If you don't try to compare these games to the old trilogy so much they're actually pretty good. The longer breath streams, special abilities, and ability to fly indefinitely in Dawn of The Dragon is something fans wanted to see but now days we have this weird mindset where if the remakes or sequels aren't an almost exact replica we drag them through the dirt. God of War 4 is a perfect example of a game that went through massive changes and was overall loved by many but there were/are still those who shit on the game because it isn't a replica of the original games set in Greek mythology.
Spyro looks so weird in this one. His face looks crinkled and bent IMO. Also, why did they make sparks talk? Maybe Toys for Bob should also reignite this trillogy as well. The Legend Of Spyro Reignited Trilogy!

I wonder why they switch the horn attsck and breath-attack buttons from what they were in the clasics? In the orrigonal trilloy, holding square was a charge attack, (also usefull for just moving faster,) and circle was for short burst of firebreath, (which looked like a boque of red flowers cause of the low-polly PS1 graphics.)
I grew up with the original Spyro and Crash trilogies, (and 3 spin offs, Crash Bash, GBA Crash Huge Adventure, and GBA Spyro Season of Flame). Even though all these other games came out a little after, the internet didn't really exist yet and I was only aware of and gifted Crash The Wrath of Cortex on the original Xbox, but past that I didn't know about any of the other games existence until adulthood. I see in the comments many people say this is their first Spyro game and their childhood which is fine. However for me this looks like trash. Primarily the fact of turning Crash and Spyro into fighting games. Yes the older games had "fighting" in them too, but for you and enemies it was always a 1 hit kill unless you had Sparx or Aku Aku, but giving Crash, Spyro, and enemies health bars and attack combos is just really weird to me. I hope you all get your remasters as I did the originals and maybe I'll play those versions but I'm meh on this for now.
