    I have no idea, you did very well! I have seen many video's and literatures as well they treat the area of the slice as the same, but you did according to their geometry and that is what i am feel too! Thanks a lot Sir!

    oooh my GOD, best video ever, thank you very much. you earlier mentioned that this method is suitable for undrained soil conditions, but this is the not the actual truth when it comes to the field. please advise.

      In saturated clay, excess pore pressures will emerge in the vicinity of the failure surface as soon as it develops.

      That should be pretty simple to implement (although it may take a while). I recommend MathCad instead, for this problem.

      Before, during, or after construction ... to ensure that a slope is not in danger of failing!

      Su would be provided by soil testing. The degree to which the value of the provided Su can be relied on is another story...
