Well done, Pam, you edited and told the story beautifully. The pas de deuxs to this are at times for me achingly beautiful on a plot that is not exactly the feel good story of the day. What really appeals to me about this ballet is that the story demands serious acting chops of the principles. The drama and heartbreak of the story never lightens up. Polunin really tells the story of one sick puppy named Rudolf.
