A theory I have is that Donald and Goofy will ask Hades to bring Sora back to life before Sora "Died" at the end of KH3 Remind and Hades gives Donald and Goofy a charm of some sorts that allow Sora to go between reality and unreality but is limited to certain words

Cloud showing up would be fitting, given the nature of Quadratum, Yozora's presence, and the recent FF7 Remake and Rebirth hype.
Maybe when cloud and sephiroth disappeared in kh2 they went to quadratum
I had feeling that Sora is gonna portrayed to the soldiers and gigas as anomaly due to Yozora's last interaction with Sora. Also believe some of the secret bosses would be final fantasy summons (FF16 Edition).
I love how Kingdom Hearts has evolved over the years. It has only gotten better. The story has always been on point and never unsatisfying. It is always evolving into something more epic than the last iteration. It just proves how talented Nomura and his team are. They way they are telling the story is in the form of Chinese novels with multiple arcs that change things a bit while giving you more knowledge with the end of the acts having their own climaxes. I have been reading Chinese cultivation novels, as I call them. Which is people cultivating the Dao, their minds, bodies and energy. These novels can go beyond thousands of chapter with some even reaching more than five thousand chapters. Reading such novels shows unique worlds within worlds. Yeah some things do at time repeat. Especially in novels that reach over five thousand chapters, but there are unique people, groups, skills and situations through out each act and arc of theses stories. The feeling I get from those such novels a get the same feeling from Kingdom Hearts.
While Cloud being prominent in KH4 would be extremely hype I actually think Lightning would be a better fit to show up. Quadradum is like Valhalla in a sense that it’s kinda like a Purgatory. It’d also be a nice reference to 13/Versus 13.
Yes lightning and ffxiii has similarities more in yozora world but why not both cloud and lightning in kh4 it's would be better
@@RikuchanMemories24 I do still think Cloud could show up at some point just because not only could it explain where him and Seph end up after KH2 but it could also inadvertently tie into the remake trilogy in that Cloud and Seph are actually jumping “worlds”/timelines.
So if Cloud is in Quadratum, would you then agree that Cloud is dead too? Because if i remember correctly, the Nameless Star said in MoM that people who are in Quadratum are technically "dead." I believe they will describe that more but man...would you think that Cloud possibly died fighting Sephiroth? Maybe we will see them clash for a 3rd time in KH???

Personally, I want the other keybladers to be party members. Do it traditional Square RPG style where you can swap them out at save points. The game would start out alone, and end with everyone available.

From what we see at the end of Kh3 re:mind Yozora isn't that hostile towards Sora, to be hunting him as soon as he detects him.

If Yozora is hunting down Keyblade Wielders, I say it's because he's being manipulated by the Master of Masters and Luxu, who make them believe they're dangerous and a menace, not knowing they're Keyblade Wielders themselves. In a way it could work as a parallel of Riku being manipulated by Maleficent in the first game to fight Sora. In fact, Maleficent could be one of the manipulators, as the last time we saw her, she was spying Luxu and the Foretellers. I wouldn't be surprised if she followed them to Quadratum to get the Black Box. She could pretende she's on their side, and when she gets her hands on the Black Box... BAM! She betrays them.

LOVE this intro idea! And Cloud definately would be fitting and also makes since given how popular and fresh the FF7 Remake trilogy is in people's minds.
To add onto that, I'd also love to see a scenario in KH4 where we'd also meet Zack in Quadratum; he disappeared at the end of BBS (the only KH game he's appeared in so far) and hasn't been seen since. What if he was whisked away to Quadratum and has been trapped there all this time??

I hope Kingdom hearts 4 will have Nintendo switch 2 Nintendo world even Nintendo characters cameos from super smash ultimate, more final fantasy characters, and hopefully star wars and avengers world. Heck I hope kingdom hearts 3 and 4 will come on steam pc with mods. And also I hope nomura has any ideas how to kick start Sora's next beginner tutorial and story in quandram.

I think multiple characters are in play here.
The tutorial would be Kairi training with Aqua and starting a journey traveling worlds.
Eventually, it will switch to Sora learning Quadratum and doing his story there.
Riku will have his own but in a dream version of Quadratum
I love the way you think HMK! Either scenario route is fun though I hope Strelitzia takin off means we still get to play as her and such. As for Disney words and how Sora visits them I hope Kairi is the one visiting the bulk of them. With Sora visiting the more realistic worlds on his side.

I also think that could help level up Sora and the party is doing side missions around Shibuya. We never got that in the previous KH titles, so this would be a fun opportunity to do that.
I feel like the question we need to answer is what we want in KH4. As I want a karoke minigame similar to what the Yakuza/Like a Dragon Series has.

Just for fun, my two cents: I think Yozora would be the rogue figure as opposed to Cloud (I think Yozora’s little keyblade skull and bones patch would actually support that). I think that we’re going to see that Quadratum is watched over by a Shinra like organization, something Cloud used to be a part of (according to his KH2 character file they’ve confirmed he was involved in the SOLDIER program even in the KH universe) and something the MoM is probably manipulating behind the scenes. I imagine keyblades don’t exist outside of MoM, Strelitzia, and Sora, and it’s possible that Sora’s the only one who still has his (the rigors of time travel and possibly memory loss could have caused Strelitzia to lose hers and MoM may have never bothered to make himself another one after passing on No Name). I actually believe that possibly KH4 opens with Sora stumbling onto that huge Darkside before he even meets anyone else, and his fighting prowess while fighting a huge monster no one has seen before (I’m operating under the premise that MoM is exerting control over whatever darkness exists in Unreality and didn’t have a reason to actually use Heartless until he saw Sora show up) makes Sora look like a superhero type of figure. The fight doesn’t go Sora’s way and ends in a draw where the Darkside is defeated, but not before knocking Sora out as he realizes his magic isn’t working the way it should in this world (back to level 1 lol). He wakes up in an apartment where he meets a strange girl who informs him he's practically famous at this point and that he's lucky none of the cameras caught his face. After that we get a tour and catch our bearings, we see the Gigas roaming around to keep an eye on things after the Darkside attack and at some point hear about a wanted fugitive: Yozora, the fugitive prince of Quadratum. I do think Cloud will show up, but as a minor supporting character, possibly as a team up towards the climax of the game where we face off against the leaders of the Shinra-like organization.
Hm, this does sound very interesting, I would like this be the case, but we’ll see eventually.
Also, I have been wondering if the Remake Games would potentially have any hints towards what we could see in Kingdom Hearts moving forward, so Cloud was a nice touch.

My theory is that we'll have a DDD scenario, where we play as two different characters.
I think it's been confirmed that one of the themes of KH4 is perception, that what one person sees is completely fictional to another person but is reality to them. Quadratum lies on the other side of reality to the Kingdom Hearts world and is 100% fictional to the KH cast but is 100% reality to the denizens of it and vice-versa.
What I'm expecting is the player switching between Sora and Kairi. We'll be able to see Kairi on her training arc, where she is traveling between the Disney worlds (their side of reality), trying to master her powers as a Princess of Heart and a keyblade wielder, laying the groundwork for Sora's return. I think Riku will try to bring Sora home but they'll have to fight against reality effectively banishing Sora because of his nature taboo so, much like KH1 where they need people on both sides, they'll need Kairi on their side of reality and Riku on Quadratum's side in order to accomplish the task.
Sora, however, will still travel between worlds but the worlds he visits will be themed around death, moving on, or lingering. So world's like Coco or Soul. We can also see some of the more live-action Disney properties for Sora to visit like the Avengers, Star Wars or Xmen.
The worlds Kari visits could be places about restoring that which was lost and the reunion of family and loved ones. Moana, Encanto, and so on.
We don't even need that big of a game, 3 or 4 worlds for Sora, 3 or 4 worlds for Kairi and the end-game and we'll have a game of comparable size to KH2.
The theme of perception can also carry over for the Master of Masters making moves. How he moves in and starts manipulating Sora and Sora genuinely believes he's doing the right thing while Riku sees the big picture and the harm that the Master is doing in the immediate vicinity, where Sora and Riku come into conflict again but this time it's Riku calling Sora stupid, very much like KH1 but reversed from their fraying relationship then.
And the great thing if that is the case is is that both could be right.

I'm so convinced Cloud & Sephiroth are in Quadratum. I hope Cloud reverts to his KHI outfit tho.
Here’s how I think KH4 will go: Sora will meet Strelitzia in the apartment and he is given a tour of Quadratum until out of nowhere the Heartless attack the city. Yozora shows up and begins hunting Sora. Maybe he’ll meet some new Final Fantasy characters (I’m hoping for the cast of Strangers of Paradise). Sora is saved by Jack, Jed and Ash. Unbeknownst to Sora, Donald and Goofy have found a way to Quadratum presumably with help from Hades. They cross paths with Neon and Sophia and Neon scares Donald the same way Aeritj did in KH1. She asks Donald and Goofy “are you two from the otherworld?”. The characters explain to the trio separately about the world they are in and about the creators: deities who created Sora’s universe and are worshipped as gods by the people of Unreality (this is my own idea just bear with me). In the final fight with Darkside, Donald and Goofy fall on Sora in the same way they fell on him in KH1 and when they realize it’s him they shout “Sora”. After the battle against the Heartless the trio have a heartfelt reunion. The moment is meant to parallel how the trio first met but this time it’s to find Sora and not the Keyblade. They learn that for Sora to return he needs to “the blessing of the creators” so they decide to go visit each of the four creators until they find Sora’s Thus, the adventure begins.
One world I'm hoping for is the Percy Jackson series Disney how tall is with the series since 2020 2 years before Kingdom hearts 4 was announced. It would also be fun to see how sore reacts to these different version of The Olympian gods.

The Quadratum we see in the trailer doesn't seem technologically advanced enough to have Gigas if you ask me. It looking different than the Toy Box trailer and Beat of Lead is one thing but the KH4 trailer version we see only seems as advanced as our world is right now.
Open your mind to the possibility that Sora going to the other side of reality is a bigger deal than people are giving it credit for. He could be changed beyond recognition by the time Riku finds him, or many years could pass even though it's only been a year and some change for the GoL as of MelMem. In that time Quadratum will become the Al Bhed wet dream superpower and develop Gigas and other insanely advanced tech.
Keep in mind that Quadratum itself is based on the real world, but we already see Yozora with all of his tech in Quadratum itself; Looks can be deceiving.
You also forgot to mention how Maleficent and Pete get horrifically disposed of Raiders of the Lost Ark style when they open the Black Box consider MoM aka Guy Who Ruined Star Wars said not to open it where one of the spirits break the green orb on top of Maleficent's staff and turns into a burnt black tree, Diablo turned to stone and as for Pete... The World Ends with You writer is rich, she'll figure it out. Not to mention to tell Aqua about it so she'll know that they're gone for good it might as well be Sora, Donald and Goofy since they mentioned it to them once in KH3.

- Terra, Aqua and Ven are looking in the Realm of Darkness
- Kairi is training under Aqua
- Roxas and Xion are being memory-studied (idk what their role would be)

Long post will be long. I differ a bit on how I think the opening is going to play out in terms of the station of awakening. The first trilogy was a journey through adolescence and touched on a lot of themes. 2 had identity vs nobody conflict with all the worlds telling stories about people finding themselves. 3 was death and loss, in context of moving on with life. *avoids his thesis on ideology running throughout the games*
I bring this up because one thing that struck me about the ending was the metaphor Nomura kind of got across. It’s back at the place he began, everyone from his childhood there and him leaving it behind as he fades away. Also how aside from Kairi everyone there seems happy and glad, like wishing him well on this next bit.
My hunch is the next ending and broader story of 4 is going to be about transitions and sort of discovering inner strength. Number of worlds I can see this working in from Disney there too. But for the very start I’m picturing station of awakening focusing on past defining how they move ahead and develop. And I’m thinking Quadratum, which starts him off alone in his own apartment (more on that transitioning phase idea) and Ster at the start is going to be introducing him to world and discussing his place in it. And that’s when I imagine Darkside shows up.
Maybe Roxas and Ventus will team up and search for Sora in each of the Disney worlds. I mean we’ve never seen Roxas and Ventus together before apart from KH3 that is

Can you imagine that it’s option B, and you’re 100 percent right, except it’s not Cloud, but Indiana Jones? I too, believe Cloud will be in Kingdom Hearts IV, but his role will be roughly the same as it was in the first two games.

Makes sense. Disney's and Pixar recent movies arent well received like some films like Frozen, Big Hero 6, movies that had their worlds in KH3 due to popularity. And well, it makes sense that with few recent sucessess, Square enix is considering movies even classic like Jungle Book

As long as it’s anything like 2 and less like 3 I’ll be perfectly fine with w.e they do
As someone who played KH2 and even beat it, I HATED the tutorial in that one; Literally 90% of that was cutscenes and text boxes with so much fluff in between all of the actually important stuff that it was just boring me to death. (Also didn't help that I immediately disliked the combat: Sora and Roxas should not weigh like they're made of bricks and it felt like it took 9 years to block only to take another 9 years to stop blocking.) In fact, most of the stuff in KH2 people seem to praise so much just frustrated me on more than one occasion: I like the CONCEPT of multiple world visits, but the execution of those was generally meh or even straight up bad. I liked the idea of Reaction Commands even though they are literally just Quick Time Events, but I ended up avoiding most of them because very few of them actually felt worth doing. I can list more of my gripes if needed.
