    Even if you wear glasses like myself, this exercise can help improve your eyesight and prevent it from getting worse. As we get older these muscles that attach to the lens in the inner eyes commonly get affected and can make our vision worse. These simple exercises can be extremely helpful. Wishing you many Healing Blessings. 😊

    I am a naturalpath and have been studying health and nutrition since 1992. So far every video of yours is correct. Just remember that sometimes the rules change if you are using synthetic products or if you have had a heart attack before. Always start out with 25% of the recommended dose, see how it affects you and then move up if there are no side effects. Also use organic products especially when it comes to vitamin D3 meaning plant based and not sheep wool what is what's mostly on the market. Do not take vitamin D3 without vitamin k2 mk7 or it can cause terrible destruction with you health. Thank you Dr. Mandel. You are a man of integrity.

    • @YamiKisara
      @YamiKisara ปีที่แล้ว

      Plant based D3 is way worse than animal based, as plants naturally produce D2, not D3, using it means you're using something far more artificial than any wool product ever could be (unless it's a very specific kind of algae or you're willing to eat potato leaves).

    • @naomimankrado8510

    I used to have really bad vision -12 and regular pain in my eyes. I started doing eye exercises every day a few years ago and started to reduce the strength of my eye correction ones every halv a year. Now my eye are WAY better. I used to be practically = legally blind without correction and now I can see so well I can manage a day without correction. I still can't read from far away though. I am down to -6 now and my vision have never been stronger and clearer. The reason my eyes got so bad was I was reading ALL the time since I was very little and I almost got blind from it, my eyes adapted to look only at close objects. Now I practice all good eye exercises some of them like this video shows and it really works. BUT it is really hard work most people who would benefit will never have the discipline to do it. I do it at least 30min a day up to an hours every day. And every time you drop down an strength it takes a few months to get back the same sharpness again. I see no slowing of my improvement, the eye just have to rebuild it self and it seems to take as long as it did when it got weak. Some added things that help, make sure you get the right nutrition for your eye health. A vitamin, lutein, meso-zexaxanthin, zeaxanthin and astaxanthin. Read up on sources and dosages. My vision is crazy sharp compared to what it was. I had no idea how many levels to vision there was and is. It is a fun journey and I am only half way there.

    • @mary-ue4ir
      @mary-ue4ir ปีที่แล้ว +4

      What an inspiring testimony! I just saw my eye doctor two days ago and asked him if exercises would sharpen my vision and was told no, even though my right eye has become less sharp in the past 3 years. I'm almost 69 and wear 1.75 readers for distance and driving and 3.50 readers for computer and reading. No other prescription glasses. I'd like to find a unadulterated source of the vitamins you mention, the over the counter brand has additives I'd rather not take daily. Thank you for taking the time to share your eye exercise experience, you've motivated me to do the same. : )

    • @mary-ue4ir
      @mary-ue4ir ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was also told to only choose light grey or lightly tinted UV sunglasses because I am nearsighted. Apparently darker lenses cause the pupil to expand more in order to focus more clearly if that makes sense. I'll be happy to shock my eye doctor with improved vision in a year or so after I do the exercises!

    • @cajampa
      @cajampa ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mary-ue4ir yeah the eye doctors and optometrists refuse to recognise that this is even possible. Do your research and don't listen to them who tell you it is not possible they are only telling you this because they want to keep selling you there services. The horrible truth is it is all a scam from the industrie imagine if when a kid start to get worse eyes get to know how to actually use there eyes to not make them weaker anymore they would lose that customer for life. It is all just a skill issue. We are not made to sit inside looking at things close to us all the time. We are made to be outside looking at the horizon and hunting and foraging looking at the forest and targeting animals. This naturally works the eyes so they don't get weak. But now when we live a diffrent way of life with reading and looking way to many hours at too close at object the eyes get stiff and loses its correct shape. But just as it can lose its shape it can gain it back again. It just takes a long time. And for example good eye doctors actually know about these nutritional supplements and do recommend them because they do work and are one of the few things that stops a lot of age eye disease from progressing. But then again most don't actually want to heal because that means less profit and less patients it is that bad. They are educated by the pharma industrie and using nutrients that can't be patented is not something the pharma industrie would want to promote. So they don't know about it. Anyway, there exist good options for all of those nutrients with little to no bad additives, you just have to search for them. For example a vitamin I eat some organic chicken liver every day not a full meal just an ounce or so, I fry it and then freeze it and just add some to my other meals. And lutein is sold as an extract from marigold just pick an product with not to high of a dose, 10mg is max otherwise it accumulates in the eye at too high level. It is reversible though. But something to be carefull about, more is not always better. And some lutein products already have the others zeaxanthin and the meso variant in decent amount. I buy astaxanthin pure in a powder format but that is hard to find because a dose is so little only 4-12 mg. But there is lots of good brands out there they are just more expensive than powder.

    • @cajampa
      @cajampa ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@mary-ue4ir if you use readers for better vision. You have hyperopia but you say you are nearsighted that doesn't really make sense to me. But if you want to get your eyes back to more normal shape. You need to start using a small amount of less adjustment. So start by trying 3.25 instead of you normal 3.5 + doing lot of eye exercises search on TH-cam and online for good ones. As with all exercises the best ones are the ones you actually do. Maybe try get a pair of 1.50 and try them out. For driving just to be safe you should probably keep the stronger until you have gotten better eyesight. And then keep doing it like that and your eyes should improve. Especially at the start one usually get pretty big gains because the eyes are so untrained. It is only here in the West the doctor and professionals refuse to recognize that this stuff works. In the east and Asia where they are pushing the kids really hard to study resulting in poor eyesight. They have recently started big national projects to reverse this. And they have had massive successes. But as most things working out, discipline is what makes it work and if people don't do it and don't want to understand how the eye actually work they can't change. Another thing that helps is get lots of natural light in the eyes, go outside focus on diffrent things in various focus points kind of like in this video but in nature. Go for a walk and look really look and focus on things close and far and close and far away and work the eyes. At first it is slow and you are really feeling the eye work but as with everything there more you do it the faster and stronger the eye gets. Another thing is hold up you hand and let one eye work focusing. And then the next fir awhile. Often we have a dominant eye that takes over. And we need make sure both are getting stronger.

    • @mary-ue4ir
      @mary-ue4ir ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cajampa Thank you very much for your encouragement. I am going to to copy your valuable comments and read them over before I practice throughout the day so I won't forget any details. I will reduce to 3.25 and practice in outside in natural light as you suggested. I'm so excited and happy to know I can improve and maintain good vision for years to come and reduce my need for readers. Already I find I only need the driving glasses at night when I need to read street signs which is not often. I hope I will be able to restore strength to sharpen that focus too. Thank you so much again! This is just the best news! : )

    The exercises work - I had a book with the Bates eye exercises years ago - after only a few months I had an eye test and my optician was amazed at how I was reading further down the eye chart. Also at 63 I do not need reading glasses. Pinhole glasses are also fun to wear for a few minutes while watching TV and they help the eye muscles too. I wish I had known of these exercises and how to look after my eyes before I ruined my vision with reading and studying - but it si never too late and I think my eyes are in better shape than they might otherwise have been - and it is great not having to worry about reading glasses! i can wear my contact lens which are correct for normal vision and still do close work!

    Hi Dr. Mandell. Thank you for your time and this video. I have some questions for you: 1. Should I do this exercise with my glasses on or off? (I have astigmatism) 2. Do I need to just stare at the tip of the pen without blinking or is blinking okay to do? 3. Can you make more videos on exercises to strengthen vision? Those are my questions. Thank you again.

    I have been wearing glasses since I was 8 years old. Vision has stayed the same all these years, so I guess that's good. 32 years of same bad nearsightedness

    Good gracious Dr! Only last evening I was doing this, I noticed that when following vertical lines one or other of my eyes felt as it wondered off line so I got the pen out and could really feel those muscles.

    Hi dr, You don’t need Pen for this , Use your Finger Instead, Same Result. But your Concept is 100% Right. Thanks for always Good Suggestions.
