I have been sewing for 60 years since I was a child and I learned everything by myself from a lot of experience. I took an old piece of cloth and decided to try. I got up every second to the computer to check the video and got into a lot of trouble 😢. In the end, the logic of my experience led me to do exactly what you did. If you understand me.
