The political parties are just two football teams. Two sides both playing the same stupid game. When it was at a smaller scale, the political parties helped to bring equality for individual's voices, but at a larger scale it's become less of, "How can everyone have a voice?" and more of, "How can I get my side to beat the other side?" It turned from a system built for fairness to a system that fuels off division and hatred. Personally, I think this country would be better if we somehow abolished the two-party system. @CLOV3R713 i never got this argument. it’s completely fine if at the time or even before puberty a child wants to express themselves how they want. at age 8 my trans friend started ripping their hair out because it made him feel like a girl when he knew he wasn’t, and it took another 6 years of suffering until they was able to make a change, since he was a child, no one listened to him. but what difference does it make? no child under the age of 13 is getting any form of transitioning surgery, so if a kid wants to be whoever they want so be it. when they’re older they can decide if they want to transition or not, but it’s harmful to say kids can’t express themselves how they want because they’re young. if a kid can recognize that they’re cisgender, they can recognize they’re transgender too. the suicide and self-harm rates on transgender youth is ludicrous, and it’s due to thought process like that. some people act like because a child associates more with the gender they weren’t assigned with they’re just immediately getting hormone treatment and surgery, and then will come to regret it? that just doesn’t happen. who cares if a kid wants to dress how they want and be referred to as they’d like. it makes no difference to me, and i’m glad it’s getting normalized to the point where kids don’t have to fear questioning their identity. www.thetrevorproject.org/survey-2020/ (apologies went on quite the rant)

Wtf is the first take? "Cancel culture is inherently good but it can be used for bad things" And "No one has ever been cancelled, they are cancelling themselves" If no one is getting cancelled then how's it any good? How do people use it for bad things if no one has been cancelled? Sure Carson wasn't completely deplatformed but his subscriber count dropped a lot super fast, it wasn't Carson who chose to make them unsubscribe they themselves just chose to stop supporting a cancelled TH-camr. He wasn't completely deplatformed but his platform became much smaller very quickly, and he had no control over that (you know, besides not doing those things he did) I actually know lots of people who had trolls who have lots of bot accounts on TikTok or twitter who got their account taken down because their bots were mass reporting the tweets or the tiktoks, so it does happen irl
xqc was basically saying that he thought cancel culture as a concept is sound, but the execution and use of it was lackluster and didn't amount to any actual change or canceling.
1:50-2:30 Nah that's a pretty smooth brain take tbh. If someone does something scummy, how likely are they to take on hateful, dismissive and accusatory comments, telling them to correct their behaviour, from completely anonymous strangers? They won't. Not because the advice is bad, but because you physically cannot shame random people who you do not know into changing their ways; it provokes a social challenge/threat response, because you're some random ass bum acting like they have some right over said person to change their ways. If you know the person, then shaming them actually carries weight. It is a direct negative affront to your relationship with that person, and that is the sole reason why shame is even useable as a social tactic in humans, because the weight of the shame is directly linked to the respect or mutual benefit of the relationship. If the relationship has neither, then shame cannot work. It is a childish mentality to believe that you can use bullying tactics to create positive change in a person who you do not even know. Also, on the note that no one gets cancelled, what an absolutely shit take. The people who go out and actively look for people to cancel do not sit and watch twitch. The people who sit and watch twitch do not have time to go and actively participate in cancel culture. xQc essentially said to a brick wall "yeah, but you can't name people who have been cancelled, so it doesn't exist". What bullshit. Where's hashinshin guys? You remember him, right? League streamer? RIGHT THROUGH THE COUNTERSTRIKE! What happened after someone leaked discord screenshots of dms showing him being a paedophile? The FBI investigated him and found NO INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER. The leaked DMs were faked, and hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of people helped ruin someone's life because of it. Cancel culture (A.K.A. mindless witch hunting) is a brainless excuse for social-media-addicted individuals to engage in shitty anti-social behaviour that carries no repercussions if the accusations are fake or wrong. There isn't a single good proponent of cancel culture, and the idea that it's even feasible shows how far the U.S has really fallen in it's political ideology.
I agree with you, but I think X kinda just misworded his thoughts. What I’m thinking he was saying was that cancel culture could have potential but is misused. Giving the larger public a more important collective voice doesn’t really work because people enforce their own values/morals, but if it could be regulated (like people work together not to censor or humiliate or shame people but to instead hold them accountable by involving the law) it could work. I unfortunately don’t think that’s feasible, but I’m pretty sure it’s what X was getting at. At the end of the day, the larger public is mostly ignorant on the issues they try to judge. This isn’t usually through a fault of self but a fault of the system, the cancel culture system. I also agree that cancelling people will definitely not make them change, and might even further radicalize them. ‘Justifiable’ and ‘correct’ (be it logically or morally) are not synonyms. MLK could’ve hurt those who were racist to him and many today would consider that justifiable, but it doesn’t bring on real change, at least on a large scale. Instead, MLK stood still and strong against racism and changed people’s minds for the better. You get the idea. Sorry if you thought this comment was unnecessary, I just wanted to throw my two cents in and open myself up to discussion.
they defend the guidelines in the Taliban argument but in general that side of the political spectrum literally call for people to be banned when they haven't violated shit
I mean, they do have a point. If you're going to ban the Taliban for something that has nothing to do with Twitter guidelines then you might has well ban everyone on Twitter. In fact, if you guys want the Tailban banned off the Twitter then that's even a stronger argument to ban all government affiliate accounts on twitter. You don't think the US government has committed so messed up stuff? Trump violated the guidelines rather you want to admit it or not.

Not sure that's a possibility at this point though.

And it's also interesting how the US is (to my knowledge) the only country where it is the norm to refer to said country as "best in the world". If you're raised to believe your country is the best, you have the most freedoms, you have the most opportunities, everyone wants to come to your country, etc.. Then that is purely just indoctrination. Because all these phrases are so carelessly thrown around without any credibility nor experience to back it up. It's just hear-say repeated at such a high frequency that it becomes the standard way of thinking, and thus a "truth" in the mindset of many people.

it’s completely fine if at the time or even before puberty a child wants to express themselves how they want.
at age 8 my trans friend started ripping their hair out because it made him feel like a girl when he knew he wasn’t, and it took another 6 years of suffering until they was able to make a change, since he was a child, no one listened to him.
but what difference does it make?
no child under the age of 13 is getting any form of transitioning surgery, so if a kid wants to be whoever they want so be it.
when they’re older they can decide if they want to transition or not, but it’s harmful to say kids can’t express themselves how they want because they’re young.
if a kid can recognize that they’re cisgender, they can recognize they’re transgender too.
the suicide and self-harm rates on transgender youth is ludicrous, and it’s due to thought process like that.
some people act like because a child associates more with the gender they weren’t assigned with they’re just immediately getting hormone treatment and surgery, and then will come to regret it?
that just doesn’t happen.
who cares if a kid wants to dress how they want and be referred to as they’d like.
it makes no difference to me, and i’m glad it’s getting normalized to the point where kids don’t have to fear questioning their identity.

xqc was basically saying that he thought cancel culture as a concept is sound, but the execution and use of it was lackluster and didn't amount to any actual change or canceling.
1:50-2:30
Nah that's a pretty smooth brain take tbh.

Hey man I think you sent your essay to the wrong place.

"Did the Taliban violate community guidelines"
I mean they violated human rights so probably
By that standard we’d need to ban the Republican Party
i think the fact that it was liberal kids against conservative parents is a slight jab at the intellect of right wingers. and its hilarious as fuck
I took it kind of more of a generational thing but now you mention it, that does track lmao
You should watch videos of conservative kids against liberal parents that actually cover talking points from both sides before you form that opinion.
How, people become more conservative as they get older
liberal kids = kids (btw, kids dont know wtf they talking about) the world is not a cozy blanket. time to grow up and stop being an idealist frio, that shit dont work
@@skrtskrt925 yes, act like none of teh conservatives got lower factuality scores, knew nothing about trans kids but went off on intutiive beliefs, made eccentriclly stupid claims about election fraud which has been cleared 10 million times now, but 'muh experience'.
The way chat literally rags on the teenage girl for literally anything she says is weird.
Exactly what i noticed. Chat was continually spamming "can't even vote omegalul" as if she can't have opinions because she's a minor.
Chat working around the clock to spam "?????" on the most coherent sentence ever spoken

Every time I see americans discussing politics and shit like that I feel my brain shrinking... fucken hell it-s literally painfull to follow.
I dont think there really is a reason to follow american politics, its mostly people arguing about dumb shit and nothing of significance really ever gets done

I think he meant kids that dont have masculine father figures and are over mommied, Id agree to not having one most of the time makes a solid kid but a hurt kid for sure
I disagree with xqcs take on other countries. While I do believe their population and racial makeup of the country can be beneficial, I think it’s clear that our system is very different from theirs in ways totally unrelated to population. This is why we have states and why they have power. Clearly, we can learn from other countries.
Asian girl was a fucking flamethrower spittin fire every which way
I rly enjoyed this video of xQc playing Overwatch by Blizzard
I haven't watch a single episode of this, something mr. cow can not help with.
Hes based 🤣😬
x calling himself a centralist is the funniest joke he's ever made

"politics" only ruined my relationship with my family because they assume me being a trans woman is somehow political. And tried hard to disrespect me everyday so I just made the decision to not be harassed by people who are supposed to love me. So thanks for clearing it up that it's not always your fault.
I mean yeah it sucks they went out of their way to be disrespectful but the topic of transgenderism is inheritly political.
@@TheCarrotMan248 if a trans person existing is inherently political then would it not be fair to say that every human life is political? And if so being that we are a democracy (at least in America) everyone gets to vote which would mean that people in larger demographics get to decide the laws that are imposed upon smaller groups of people? Which would be terrible for the physical and mental health of alot more people than just trans folks. Stating a person's life is political because they come from a group of people you cannot understand shows alot of immaturity. Trust me when I say that if we applied the same thought process to most people it would be chaos but trans people are supposed to just be ok with it.
@@TheCarrotMan248 it's long but fr that's pretty fucked man imagine if someone said that you can't go to a hospital cause of who you are, you can't seek a homeless shelter, you can't get this job. Every single job iv worked at iv always been asked something about if I got "the surgery" and if I would if I haven't. Cis people do not get asked questions about their genitals while at work because it is sexual harassment but it's deemed ok alot of the time when it's a trans person cause "political"
@@TheCarrotMan248TLDR
basically saying trans people are political is dehumanizing and is one of the main reasons we get treated the way we do by society at large.
@@wastedweirdo9853 I never said a person was political I said the topic of their identity is, such as race or gender. That is identity politics. You can be trans and not be political but the topic of transgenderism IS political.
Well as for migration in European countries, those that are part of the European Union allow any citizen to move to any of the other countries in the European Union, fairly easily. And they do face immigration problems, due to the high amount of for example middle eastern families trying to escape their countries.
There is too many immigrants not respecting countries cultures and do what they want
@@YDSD I do think this is a problem, when too many immigrants come into a country without trying to assimilate at all just brings the same issues that they left for

That ‘factuality’ stat is pathetically biased 😂
The whole test is bias 😂
It’s likely just websites that state sources compared to ones that don’t. Seems biased but a lot of websites don’t list sources or talk facts for some reason
Crazy how the conservatives don't have that gray area but all the liberals do, even tho there are no unbiased or "centrist" sources

When you're young you have a belief that the world can be a good, happy place. That everyone can get along and work together. That you have the power to change the world because you are the future.
As you get older, you start to realize that the world isn't that simple. Manipulation happens, certain people have certain advantages and disadvantages, and being in a position of power will force you to destroy your moral beliefs.
If you're young and reading this, don't let this get you down. There is some truth to making the world a better place, but just know it's not as simple as solving a math equation. All the people who've changed the world have had their family, and life in danger, but they still stood by their conviction and changed the world.
Listen to the wise, learn from yours and other people's mistakes, and be proficient in history, philosophy, and real world results and don't take your freedoms for granted.
Its crazy to me that the black guy said America is getting less safe because its teaching “less important” topics like lgbtq+ and critical race theory when in actuality, America would be safer for everyone if people were taught to accept others which is done by teaching about these topics and not avoiding them.
