Hi! I just came back from there about 2 weeks ago. My family used to live in a house about 30 second walk away from the fancy house shown in 11:30 in your video! And my grandpa's name is listed as being one of the donors to the 本厚小學 before it was built and after the Japanese destroyed part of the school. So happy.

此村为宋太宗之后裔赵良昭公之嫡赵士斌于明朝洪武年间从三江迁徙到此开疆擗壤而立村，名曰＂慈溪＂凡近600载。此乡村背山面海，位于崖海即银洲湖之东，背靠龟山之尾为慈溪后山，面向银洲湖即崖海）两边环溪直奔银洲湖，南边乃三条溪水汇合而成的三坑河，北边由后山植被及鰂鱼塘浦鱼尾山坑及植被供水，流过牛仔黄山冈大榕树前的饮马河，银洲湖潮水在涨潮时可分别逆上至村尾北边的卫生站及南边的梅园边三坑桥以上，在村西边怡雅园及大寮前有劲长宽阔的祥胜塘连接两边的环村溪水，形成一个完整的布局科学合理的水体循环系统，呑吐处理了村中大量的生活废水和生活垃圾的同时，提供了含有极其丰富有机肥料的塘泥用于新会柑及各种蔬菜、水果的有机种植 。南边有三坑－水于龟山边－路西下沿村乡流向银湖，北边有大沿山，地理位置得天独厚，从来未受大的自然灾害影响和突破袭，优越的地理位置和环境令后世被受恩泽。小弟为本厚堂崇字辈＇生于斯长于斯，为不折不扣之土著陀地。
桑海桑田，潮起潮落，世代繁衍，慈溪于清未民初达到其至高的空前繁荣鼎盛时期。所有的青砖大屋及本厚学堂皆为其时所建．人口数量最多，民风淳朴，乡规民约有约束力，村民中有辅仁大学，北京大学、燕京大学等精英辈出，有赵冠山等著名乡绅，其时已达鼎盛时期．之后新中国成立，慈溪经过土改、文革、大跃进后的革命洗礼之后，慈溪乡的精英死的死伤的伤，所剩无几，被迫离乡别井海外谋生．之后便一落万丈走向衰落沉沦的深渊。目前的状况条条巷都生晒草冇得几户人住，成条村都冇得几个后生，是一日不如一日，一代不如一代，正如子曰，树大有枯枝，族大有乞儿，更有甚者是族中有极其恶劣之徒吃里爬外，伙同外乡外姓无赖之徒在村中飞扬跋扈，横行乡里，鱼肉村民，无恶不作，竞然将祖宗先人安息之地，位于大沿山脚的黄茅园铲平释数售予外乡人起屋建房，再将位于慈溪乡后山南侧的山罗坟掘墓三丈售卖底下之稀土，尽废慈溪村自开村以来便为先人安息之地，中饱私囊,可怜可恨可悲可耻！从此起，慈溪村民步入不折不靠的死无葬身之地的悽惨境地，入土为安是祖先几百年来流落嚟嘅习俗，嚟到我哋依代人，变到乜都冇！面对村中邪恶势力如此猖狂，在村中横行无忌为所欲为，小弟水心有不忿但又心有余而力不足，无可奈何之下只好远走他乡。
曾经村中美好的地标如本厚学校、后山、梅园、大榕树、牛仔黄、鹅颈山，高顶伟、大堂塘、三坑河、群议英、大寮、怡雅轩、米机、等等村中Icon将会在梦中一－磨灭…
小人得志，世风日下！狂徒兴风作浪，道德沦丧，无限悲哀 …..
