- Sometimes the best #adventures are not at all what you had originally planned. These kind of trips are just like life, full of the unexpected. We have been MIA for a bit, and it sure felt great to be back out on trail for another #OpenRoad4Two adventure. Although we didn't get to do what we originally had planned, we had an amazing time and look forward to the next one. Culp Valley is a beautiful area filled with lots of nature, history, and great trails.

It wasn’t too bad thankfully. Mostly surgical masks, cigarette butts, and broken plastic. It was howling and at least 15-20 mph gusts 🌬.
Awesome to see a video from you. You know, I can generally handle it if a trip doesn't go as I have planned or scheduled, unless it's something bad that happens. Then it really throws me off. And sort of deflates my idea of happy fun trip. That's what happens in our video tomorrow evening. Still tried to make the best of things. But once my bubble is busted, it's hard for me to bounce back. Guess that's just how I am lol.

Glad to see y'all back on the open road. This really was a windy day. I had never heard of a Tembo Tusk Skottle before. I even had to Look up the correct spelling. But it looks like it would be very useful cooking on the go. It is so true that you have to remain flexible as you travel. Change of plans can be necessary due to weather or many other obstacles - expected or otherwise. Thanks for taking us along!

What a unique area. The wind has been crazy everywhere this year. That grill wok is amazing. Congrats on winning it from Overland Spices. You called it a Scottle? No, you wouldn't get any sleep. The sunset was really nice. We haven't done much night wheeling either.
It felt so good to be back out on an adventure, even if it was only a day-trip! The Skottle is made by TemboTusk. Super easy to use and cleanup was a snap. Maybe one day we will hit a trail together.

I'm glad you are cleaning up the area, why are people so careless. I hope things can clear up in your schedule so you can do more trips.
Unfortunately, we wish we had the answer to that…it is something that most of us were taught as children, pick up after yourself. We have some adventures planned and look forward to getting back out again.
Camping in a tent in high winds is not fun. We’ve been in those situations before. The wind here in NM has been brutal this spring. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery! I hear ya with life- its hitting me hard too! I’m behind in my videos!! 😬😬
Just have to remember that we are human and grant ourselves some breathing room every now and then. We have to take of ourselves first and foremost. Hope you are well!
