Hi Sue! Thanks for the awesome tutorial. I proclaimed to my mum this was the best card I'd seen in a long time! I adapted to imperial 6" tall side, 3 1/2" short side, scored at 4", trimmed just a bit off each side of each white panel, just as you did. This allowed me to get two cards out of each 12x12" sheet. And it all lined up just like yours. Yay!!! And really not that complicated once you get rolling! Thank you and Happy Holidays from Oostburg, WI USA
That card took a lot of work, but the end result is fantastic!❤😍 I really, really love this card! The recipient of this card is very lucky! Thanks for inspiring me! Greetings from the Netherlands!
Wow Sue your card is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your skills. One day I will give this ago. I love your set up in the videos so easy and clear to follow. Thank you 😊
These are beautiful cards!! I just love this Snowflake Sentiments Bundle. I'm going to have to get another die set as my edgelit is bent and the snowflake doesn't fit nicely (into it) anymore! :( I made the mistake of using my precision plate when cutting multiple borders. I just love this set tho....so I'll have to order another package of dies. I learned some new tips from you as well....so thank you for sharing!! ☺
What a georgeous card! I've started working on it myself, and am having fun watching your video, that is soooo helpful. Thanks so much for doing the video and giving us all a really great challenge to make such a beautiful card. I'm hoping to make a few of these cards for Christmas...I'll have plenty to time to get it right and still make them in time for Christmas mailing!! LOL
Hello, how are you? I was impressed and delighted with this beautiful card !!!! I am very grateful, because with this video I was able to learn several techniques that I did not know !!!! Thank you very much for sharing, Kisses from Brazil :)
I was watching this video and love this card. I have a few questions. What size paper did you use for this card and what color inks did you use. Such a beautiful card.
Sue Vine I’m sorry I should have been more. Lear on the paper size. I’m from the states and we use 8 1/2 x 11 or 12x12 which is not sold in every color. Which one of these sizes would equal to the one you use?
Beautiful card!! Thank you for sharing instructions on how to make it. Did you start with A4 sized paper? What is the measurement of the top strip that was cut off first? Thanks for your help!!
What is the lenght and width meaurements of your original piece of cardstock? I'm using the US 8.5" by 11" cardstock paper and my score lines are off.. Thanks so much for any help!!
I'm using A4 cardstock which is standard size in Australia, it is slightly different to US standard size. You may need to start with a piece of 12 x12 and convert from there OR you could use the score dimensions here misspinkscraftspot.blogspot.com/2017/06/by-popular-demand-imperial-metric.html which work with a piece of 10 7/8 inch wide cardstock
The name of this set is called Snowflake Sentiments and it is from Stampin Up. This set has been retired but you may be able to find it on ebay. It also came with a matching stamp set and was offered as a bundle or separately.
That is one of the most beautiful winter cards I've ever seen. Hugs from Illinois, USA
