Namita's advice was actually sensible, respectful, and realistic one....I know a lot of people like Ashneer's way of judging people because he is aggressive and he insults people, which is good content and entertainment. But it only looks fun when it is happening with someone else and not with you. The sharks should be realistic, practical but also respectful. There is no need to insult someone to get your point across.
Money can't buy class, Ashneer is a living example of that.

Yes, but not revolutionary. The same kind of product was invented years ago, this one is just like upgraded replica of the original one nothing new. The sales going to be very low if invested, because of digital gadgets and digital equipments are there in the competition. In my opinion, any one should not demotivate a young entrepreneur specially like ashneer do always. If sharks doesn't understand the value of product, it never means that product doesn't not have value. This kind of small microscopes are accessible and pocket friendly to students and same time to learn something new

As a physicist I must say it’s a great product. We call such ideas as frugal science products. I hate it how Ashneer and Aman degraded the idea itself in such a condescending way. For the context, the original paper based microscope called “foldoscope” was invented by one of my collaborators at Stanford -Prof Manu Prakash. This microscope (attached with a centrifugal toy) was used to detect water borne diseases and microbes typically in pond water in regions like Africa. It is quite a successful idea. The thing is what these guys have invented deserves more praise than what they got here in tank, maybe tank deserves slightly more educated and informed sharks.

Actually, asheer has a good point that this product, if modified and made in such a way that it can externally attach with phone and can enhance camera quality (zoom & clarity) by adjusting gear ⚙️ it might be useful and creative, actually , and then in such case , users can even achieve high quality photo even with normal camera

This product is absolutely fantastic. These people don't know the scientific value of it. If we can see the microscopic view in such a way its really nice. Student can easily use this and relate while reading books easily what the cells, ameoba, alegue, fungi etc. these sharks never understand it.
True, I had science till my 10th standard. The reason I lost interst in the subject was because the school never gave us the microscope to observe the things nor were we allowed to experiment with chemistry and biology. Indian school and education system needs a revolutionary change, hope The New Education Policy will usher in an era of scientific progress and the coming generations didn't have to suffer the same cold attitude of the schools. Shark Tank India is an idiot show, they don't want to invest in life changing idea.

I really like the product bcoz I was already wanted a microscope on my birthday coz I'm a science student ,and whenever I went to my biology laboratory I was so curious to see anything in the microscope so I really loved their idea to motivate the new generation towards microbiology. hat's off to both who atleast raised their interest and their precious time to make this product. 😊♥️
Go for a Foldscope instead. It can magnify upto 140 X. Also read its usage and invention.

For the past few months I have been looking for a microscope because I like this kinda stuff...but either the microscope are too expensive or if they are not expensive as discussed per the video...the cardboard one they didn't look as useful...but this one is a good one

Usually Ashneer is brutally honest, but in this case he is just plan arrogant and somewhat ignorant. This product can be a good replacement / add-on for existing microscopes currently used in schools & labs around the world. That too for professionals. Rs. 799 is such a small investment when it comes to labs & schools. Especially for rural schools where they teach about microscopes only from the books and no practical experience. Add to it the ease of use for kids - those fascinated by the microscopic world can buy it and roam around with it in the pocket. There is definitely a niche market and the founders shouldn't give up on it, instead can work on many similar ideas around the product and build an ecosystem around this.
What the founders have not done yet is a market research and have to work on their ability to convince about economics of the product. Spending even a month on market research would've got them an idea that this product can be quite useful for students, teachers, microbiologists, pharmacists, chemists and even in commercial areas such as jewellery etc if tweaked correctly for the required usage. If Piyush was present he probably would've invested in them.

I think this product can be sold to schools and colleges. Generally, Standard Microscope costs heavily and they are hard to maintain. If they are cheap, easily maintainable and portable then they can purchase this.

So here are our sharks...
1. Ashneer :- built a payments system which is similar to many other systems. Claims that he reduced 2% commission for online payments but it was not his idea it was his co founder. Bharat pe is a fail in front of Paytm phone pay etc. Bharat pe itself was a 'hansi mazaak' in front of other fintech.
2. Namita :- not even worth of being a shark because all she has got is because of her father only. Born with silver spoon and trolling people who are self-made with their own hard work.
3. Vineeta :- asks for product differentiation and herself running just another cosmetic company. Says that she's ambitious but never takes any business seriously, not even her own business, and that's why it's making continuous losses.
Aman :- sold his products at low price and here giving advice to people to never play the price game. Earlier he sold cheap headphones to compete with brands like Sony and JBL and then only he could make boAt a brand. He also don't have product differentiation and now he ask others for their product differentiation.
Overall :- all the sharks claims to encourage entrepreneurs and start-ups but they take it on their ego if any start-up comes from their own market, then they starts looking at it as a competition.
In season 1, companies of 5 out of 6 sharks were in loss.
In season 2, companies of 4 out of 5 sharks are in loss.
( I know there were 7 sharks in season 1 and 6 in season 2 but I'm excluding Namita as she's not an entrepreneur, she got her position from her dad)
