Nail Tech here! That "sticky layer" the UV resin has, is called the "inhibition layer", the inhibition layer, is caused by oxygen in the air blocking the curing process near the surface of the resin. This prevents the outermost layer from fully hardening. LOVE your content! I literally fall asleep to the sound of you working on these beautiful creations!

If I saw her in real life I'd probably stare at her with a dreamer like wonder. I just realised I'd probably get drawn in and eaten by an anglerfish.... 😣

Here's a little fun fact! The top of her head appears to be based on a moon jelly. The four markings you see on the very top are actually the jellyfish's stomach! Either this jellyfish girl evolved to have some super cool mimicry or her stomach is actually on her head!
Not to "well actually" you, but those are the jelly's gonads. They are what produce the sex cells of an organism. She essentially has four ovaries on her head, which is also equally bizarre.

If I could ship some of my extra doll collection to you, I would, but shipping to another country is crazy expensive. I'd like to suggest 3D printing dolls in the future though, so you will always have the bodies and face sculpts you admire most without having to worry about running out

Yeah… you’re 100% right ^_^ kids toys. I totally get it and that’s why I said that I am not angry at the company… But I am just a human being and can’t fight the feeling of disappointment :P And since it is doll-related topic, and a popular one in fact - that is just my personal opinion, that’s it :) Not even about bases for customization. The originals were just more interesting as toys, they were something new and fresh :) Now every doll line looks similar in style.
@@CatmeleonStudioYES EXACTLY i’m not a customizer, so i can’t speak to the types of struggles you as a customizer will have with gen 3 MH dolls but i LOVED how unique and different every doll was in the original lines. every one of them had different face shapes and eye placements and nose and lip sizes and now (even though there is a little more diversity with body shape 🎉) all their faces and overall designs look the same :/ it’s so unfortunate and it just feels cheap and of lesser quality ://
I still have alot of my first gen dolls (although somewhat heat damaged +age) and I wish they kept the original design while making it inclusive body wise😢 I'm so sad I won't ever get to fawn over the dolls like I did as a kid they just don't have that flair I loved so much
Stunning. The way the jellyfish part came out, it looks perfect. When I saw her glowing in the dark, my first thought about it was like, on one hand, she might be missing some little glowing details on herself, but on the other hand, it kind of makes sense for her to be totally camouflaged as a real jellyfish in the dark (for some reason? kek) in any case, she's super gorgeous, thank you for sharing!

I believe I've seen other creators who make molds of faces they prefer. They will always have that face they love to make their art on, perhaps it would render an endless supply of classic Monster High heads. I'd hate to think of the day this creator would run out of the materials she needs, I love all these artworks and understand having a heart and brain full of things that must be brought into creation one day.

My favourite doll customiser used to be Dollightful. Though Dollightful still makes absolutely awesome and gorgeous stuff, I think I prefer the creativity you bring. You bring something new to the table. Even if Dollightful is also very creative and inspiring, your fairies definitely had me so very inspired !! I love that you used curvier bodies for some of them, like the two different species of bees you made. You also used very clever techniques and your posing being "permanent" really makes me less anxious whenever I finally get off my butt to start customizing my own dolls. (Dont worry, I'm 24 !!) This is because then I don't have to worry so much about all the joints, and lets me accept the fact that some dolls don't have to be functional to pose and re-pose. Speaking of posing, you choose such unique and absolutely gorgeous poses for your work... It makes it all the more pretty to look at than just the "A-pose" that a lot of dolls have. I will now be on the lookout for new content from you :)
Those arms may have taken forever to do, but it was time well spent! The whole doll is amazing, but those arms are something else! They look so much like real jellyfish arms! And the uv aspect is such a beautiful way to bring in jellyfish's biolumenisence!
Love seeing your progression! Alcohol is good for taking away the resin stickiness. Love seeing the changes you are making to these dolls, and love that you shrink their heads!
I truly think you are my favorite doll customizer. I haven’t been watching you for long but it is so easy to see your passion and dedication. Every doll you make is so unique and so beautiful. I have a disease/illness that keeps me essentially paralyzed as I can not feel my legs and my has hands don’t work or open and I am bed ridden at 36. I’m so glad you used the moon jelly for the bell’s design, it’s iconic! I love the simplicity of this doll and her stand, especially how her feet are levitating. I’m not entirely in love with her face up, it seems so harsh and bold compared to the rest of her, but her smaller eyes are perfect. Thank you for having such an amazing channel!

I believe I've seen other creators who make molds of faces they prefer. They will always have that face they love to make their art on, perhaps it would render an endless supply of classic Monster High heads. I'd hate to think of the day this creator would run out of the materials she needs, I love all these artworks and understand having a heart and brain full of things that must be brought into creation one day.

My favourite doll customiser used to be Dollightful. Though Dollightful still makes absolutely awesome and gorgeous stuff, I think I prefer the creativity you bring. You bring something new to the table. Even if Dollightful is also very creative and inspiring, your fairies definitely had me so very inspired !! I love that you used curvier bodies for some of them, like the two different species of bees you made. You also used very clever techniques and your posing being "permanent" really makes me less anxious whenever I finally get off my butt to start customizing my own dolls. (Dont worry, I'm 24 !!) This is because then I don't have to worry so much about all the joints, and lets me accept the fact that some dolls don't have to be functional to pose and re-pose.
Speaking of posing, you choose such unique and absolutely gorgeous poses for your work... It makes it all the more pretty to look at than just the "A-pose" that a lot of dolls have.
I will now be on the lookout for new content from you :)
Those arms may have taken forever to do, but it was time well spent! The whole doll is amazing, but those arms are something else! They look so much like real jellyfish arms! And the uv aspect is such a beautiful way to bring in jellyfish's biolumenisence!
Love seeing your progression! Alcohol is good for taking away the resin stickiness. Love seeing the changes you are making to these dolls, and love that you shrink their heads!
I truly think you are my favorite doll customizer. I haven’t been watching you for long but it is so easy to see your passion and dedication. Every doll you make is so unique and so beautiful. I have a disease/illness that keeps me essentially paralyzed as I can not feel my legs and my has hands don’t work or open and I am bed ridden at 36. I love the simplicity of this doll and her stand, especially how her feet are levitating.
I’m not entirely in love with her face up, it seems so harsh and bold compared to the rest of her, but her smaller eyes are perfect.
