    Hey everyone, I hope you are all seeing this. I lost my account to this channel but I would like to tell everyone that I have recovered from this nightmare of a condition. I got into university and after I moved into residence my condition started to fade away. I feel like it was the switch in my lifestyle which really helped for me. I was so focused on school work that my brain completely forgot about the condition. My weird vision is finally gone and I can say that I am completely recovered. I still have anxiety but that is something that I was born with and I don't feel the need to take any medication for it because I will be tampering with my brain and it could make things worse. I know that if I can recover, everyone can. So stay strong and you will recover I can promise that.

    For those who got way too high and felt like they were stuck in a dream, I was in the same situation a while ago. Don't overthink it, stay chill, do sport, eat healthy, drink a ton of water, etc. It'll probably be gone soon, trust me. Also caffeine really helped me for some reason. I still smoke from time to time and I'm careful to not green out and take it easy. This together with a energy drink helps me to not have bad highs.

      Thats not how this works lol. Sometimes weed causes extreme paranoia which can cause a huge and dramatic/traumatic panic attack hence the reason why “bad trips” exists. And since a traumatic event happened, sometimes your brain can slip into depersonalization/derealization because it feels the sense of the trauma that occurred. Its really just a waiting game rather than a “think happy thoughts” scenario because sometimes you become emotional immune to it

    • @alexdobro6271
      @alexdobro6271  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I agree that weed isn’t what causes the disorder but rather a gateway to a panic attack. The panic attack is what will cause the state of dpdr. Avoiding weed will just lower your chances of panic attacks. Weed reacts with everyone’s brain differently. That’s why I think it’s crucial to be aware of what weed is capable of triggering for some people.

      Hi this is Alex using another account. So weed isn’t the main factor of dpdr. It may trigger it if you already have a underlying anxiety condition. This was the case for me. Smoking weed wont make your depersonalization worse from my experience. When I still had dpdr I tried weed again to see if it were to reverse the effects. I had another panic attack and woke up still feeling dpdr but not any worse. I won’t tell you what to do but if you recover and try to smoke again you might fall into the loop of dpdr again. Smoking it while you have dpdr won’t change much but stopping weed may help you recover faster(this is my experience with weed and dpdr it may be different for everyone)

      Hey man I lost the account to this TH-cam channel but I can respond to you with this one. Yes I have fully recovered. I know you may feel like this feeling is permanent because it feels like there is absolutely no way to feel normal again but that is not the case. I have recovered and you will to. One tip I can give you is for you to make sure you don’t keep your self isolated from everything. I would do that at the start because I thought that the feeling would just be to overwhelming to do anything but stay in my bed. You must go out and do everything like normal. It may feel uncomfortable at the start but it will teach your brain that there is nothing to be scared of. This will have a very positive impact on your dpdr because your brain will train itself to not always be in that flight or fight response. I really hope I make sense when I say this. Sorry for the late response

      @@skyybeats thanks bro i just started going back to school after like 4 weeks of just staying in home living out the terrible symptoms i hangout with my friends like every day. It is still here and it still sucks, but I am able to do things like I normally did, so hopefully it will go away soon.

      Hey, sorry I’m getting back so late. It’s not that you have to accept you have it. You have to understand that it is a temporary brain response that is just reacting to your marijuana experience. Something like ptsd. I know it’s really hard to ignore it because it’s this constant feeling but keeping your mind constantly busy on other things will give your brain sometime to relax. If you would like I could host a live stream on TH-cam someday and answer any more questions more thoroughly.
