AC, I agree wholeheartedly. I much prefer the EDP as well. You can smell the almost niche quality in both the EDP and Parfum, but I think the EDP gives me more flexibility for all seasons. Great video ! greetings from Canada
I agree. It was my signature scent since first released, from a time when I only had one or two fragrances on the shelf and didn't fully appreciate the art. It was/is such an easy wear for so many occasions, and let me tell you, the ladies absolutely love it, I have had so many compliments from this one its incredible.

I absolutely adore this fragrance. I put a couple sprays of Mancera Instant Crush earlier this evening but while watching this I had to spray my hand with BDC and I must say, it’s an oddly pleasant combo lol. Although they do share a handful of the same notes. Your break down of this was brilliant. Lovely delicate jasmine with an incense infused woody backbone, the mint adds a nice bit of freshness. It also has an intriguing mineral vibe, like wet rocks. IMO this is a masterpiece, right along with the Parfum. BTW, I didn’t care for this one at first, either. Cheers

I think IC is perfect for those who enjoy the style perfume (BR540/cotton candy), it’s VERY long lasting with heavy projection, almost to a fault, and much like BR540, very synthetic. It’s nice, but still not my cup of tea. A 5mL will last you ages and I’d be curious to hear your impression on it!
the Parfum is too powdery to me and it's missing that fun grapefruit top note. Yhe edt is still my favorite and I enjoy it every time I wear it. Thanks for the review, AC, keep the videos coming
it's not wrong that's how it always goes with perfumes, one has a better projection, the other has a better lasting effect it remains a great fragrance, appreciate the smallest changes and you will appreciate the new discoveries ❤️
I remember being offered BDC edt at an airport when it was first released, I smelled it and it was the incense that threw me off as well. It was so aggressive to my nose. I said no to it, picked up my Platinum Egoiste, and never looked back at BDC anymore until sometime this year where I sampled it along with its edp and parfum variant. I bought the edp in the end.

Funny enough....I love the odd combination of notes in the opening of the EDT. I do enjoy the full wearing of the Parfum more but still feel something for the EDT. Maybe it's my memory of smelling it upon release at Macy's. I guess memories can do that to us, at times.
In terms of fragrance trilogies I think that the Bleu de chanel line is the best as each is an improvement on it's predecessor. It's a better trilogy than Dior sauvage trilogy even though dior sauvage has a elixir launch. But nothing beats Dior homme, Dior homme intense and dior homme Parfum trilogy in my opinion 👌
Great review. Wear more the Parfum version, on an almost signature scent basis: love it, a very addictive fragrance to me, but alas not adequate at all to hot summer days. For that i wear the EdP; the EdT has a very, very poor fixation on my skin, not worth the investiment to me.
after recently getting a free sample of BDC edp, I regret buying the edt. that fruity creaminess you get from the edp 😋 but all in all, not a fan of BDC. Pour Monsieur all the way.
Just sold my 2012 bottle. Too screechy for me. Idk why it's considered a "blue" fragrance(outside of the obvious). It isn't very marine nor shower gel like. I get a lot of vetiver, pink pepper, ginger and incense. I really prefer the edp and parfum to it. Too sour and piercing.
John Watkinson, I agree I prefer the edp and parfum too have 100ml of each. Also have the same for Sauvage aswell something about those edt's from both houses 🏘️ 👀. Saying that though I do prefer Prada Luna Rossa Carbon which is a more refined/mature take on Sauvage edt not so aggressive.

Parfum's opening is a masterpiece. Then, the whole EDP is absolute class. EDT was just a great start.

Hi AC, Only have EDT and never tried EDP or Parfum. Blue sophistication in a bottle for me. Loved the review and the scent.

The EDP is really smooth as well although I havent got an FB as yet. Platinum Egoiste is a phenomenal fragrance for sure :)

I have the Parfum version and it lasts a long time on the skin but it doesn't project well

Hello AC. I was never a fan of this scent. Too many people wear it and frankly, I am tired of smelling it. Its not a bad one but not for me. Be safe.
