Good shelter, I like the way you are making the stones by your feet heat up for the night. I think you need to make a hole in the wall of your shelter at the lowest part near to the fire, so that the fire pulls the air from that place, or it will come through another gap, such as your doorway because that pulls cold air into your shelter. Your kettle with the tap is brilliant, I have never seen that before
It's not a concern now but I really wished you'd put some more space between you and the ground. Hopefully you won't have rain leak inside but when it gets colder, that poncho and tiny sleep pad aren't going to do much.
Old video but well done.. There are some nice tips here if you ever become homeless as well.. Do not stake your tent out on an open sidewalk. It will make you A target .. I was out in the woods somewhere when I was Homeless..
The forest where you find the giant hollow trees is like Faery-land. These tree shelters are like something I have dreamed of since I was a child. I love your content, you make good shelters which also are beautiful 🐗🌳😍

I have always suspended any food in my pack at night from a limb by rope or twine, just in case varmints come along at night looking for a snack. Especially bears, but racoons and rats good at it also.
unusual shelter but looks good, I love the idea of the fireplace where you will get some warmth. Do you know what type of animal was inside underneath the tree, it was a good size hole. I have always suspended any food in my pack at night from a limb by rope or twine, just in case varmints come along at night looking for a snack. Especially bears, but racoons and rats good at it also.
