Narrated ‘Ali, the Messenger of Allah -may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him- said: “There will come a time upon the people when nothing will remain of Islam except its name and nothing will remain of the Quran except its words. Their mosques will be splendidly furnished but destitute of guidance. Their scholars will be the worst people under the Heaven; strife (fitna) will issue from them and avert to them.” (Mishkat al-Masabih 1/91 Hadith 276)

Would you know by chance, a good resource/book in English possibly, that talks about key philosophical/theological milestones/differences, between groups/sects in Islam in one place possibly. I have been recently touched by Iran. This singular, a blockaded nation, but such intense courage (mashaAllah) facing all alone, this dunya for so long. I can no longer call myself a Sunni (we have forgotten that we carry a beautiful Nafs - the envy of shayatin and their goals). May the ummah, believers, be one inshaAllah and Kafir to stop its intense gross Corruption, having gone now far far too long.
@@yearnfortruth7509 I would recommend Sahih Muslim with English translation and explanation. Order from Amazon or any other store that has a good price. Imam Muslim was very logical and sensible. He narrates all the strifes as well. It will help you as it helped me a lot, to sift what is right and what is wrong. What is logical and what is illogical. Read all of it end to end. All volumes. Once you have finished it, then read all the books by Imam Ghazali. All of them. That will make things clear.
There is no any line to say it's victory or lost. This fight is forever. And this is the sense of life
