Laibach has a multitude of truly impressive works. The brilliance of these works falls short of their Life is life. This is their best song ever. I remember hearing it as a kid.
I like the fact the lyrics of the song had been changed compared to the original - not a lot, but just enough to change message of the original with cheesy lyrics of an otherwise good disco-pop song, into a much deeper, realistic, darker message Laibach version delivers. Art.
i remember when in the ealy 80s the laibach logo was spread in a pirate underground way.on walls traffic lights ect.in hamburg written with the good old edding pen i heard rumors it was ULi the most unfriendly record shop salesman from UNTERM DURSCHNITT.ZickZACH records.i was then just a young stupid punk rocker buying my records in ulis shop...wich was then the only adress for punk rock records tapes zines ect. but Laibach didn mean not much to me.i was simply with 13 to young for this conzept
Heartfield’s savage image of a swastika of axes dripping blood is a reference to the fact The Third Reich often referenced earlier militaristic German history. Otto von Bismarck’s 19th century quote, “The great questions of the day will not be settled by means of speeches and majority decisions but by iron and blood” is echoed in this montage. -curator comment on the art depiction- is a beutyful image and NS love it. even if the artist wanted to show it as violent and evil. but you cant clean the land without violence.

He has right because Austria was Slovenian kingdom of Karantania and they speak and spoke slovenian not german like today and if Slovens speak german that mean automatically that german speak Slovenians are Austrians and Germans. And real Germans (Nemci) are dark black eyed turkomongolian tribes from country Germania in today's Kazakstan in Asia!!! So main capital city of now Austria was Slovienska dobrava and now is just Vienna or Wien (Slovien) without prepon Slo!!! Like Gradec is not Graz....
