- I didn't record first 20 seconds of the race so you can't see why I was so far behind. Well, as I started in front, I went through slowdowns and tried to cut the jump in the place where curbs meet this rubber part. It's ended up terribly as you can see... anyways, that's for sure the best comeback I have ever managed to pull off. It was an amazing lobby with great racers so it felt very nice to be able to catch them up again with some risky moves. I thought wallride was the only chance for me to overtake TKells96, but he was still in front of me so I had to do the last shortcut flawless too. GG TKells96, one of my best races ever!

lol sometimes when I do Trench II in random lobbies, I give them the whole lap of advantage and I usually still manage to finish 1st place

haha on Trench II many "decent" players turn into backmarkers, I think this one and Duel are two hardest races for random players, especially Trench II

I agree with turn custom off. I play GTAV online ONLY for the racing, and I dont have money to pay for ingame currency, so I prefer racing stock cars against stock cars and seing which racer is the best. Not who has the most upgraded car. Cos that would become like F1, merc wins non-stop because their car is to good to be true, but the drivers are mid level at best, but they still win thanks to the car. And yes, sory LH44 fans, Max or Leclerc or Sainz or Perez etc are better than the "sir" (another stiupid thing thanks England for making the bitch a sir).
@@sedixmrboss5625 Fair point, but I'd say racing is by far the most fun when everyone has their own custom car. Racing is *way* faster and more skillful when your cars are upgraded all the way, everything goes a lot faster.

Ferdinand Vanko if competition wasnt fun then all sports would be cancelled. Competition is what makes it fun. You dont go to a race to casually play you can always do that on an empty track.

He’s level 1000+, he probably played this race a 1000 times. He knows the timing of the spinners perfectly they aren’t random.
He is a high level player.
Also, his winner racing stats are higher than his losses. That’s what makes the car go faster.

Thanks man, I wish I did this wallride so good on my best so far lap on Racing Alley, I could have had a bit better lap :D. I'm going to try 3 laps on East Coast with wallrides, that will be super hard for me though.
Good luck :). Don't know if this will help or just confuse, but i try to inter wallride as parallel to the road as possible, car then go around on its own or with tiny course correction.
I'm still impressed by your 1:58 with utilizing wall-rides only, that was hell of a run. I noticed you do every wall-ride like you say here (parallel to the road) - it's significantly quicker indeed, but as for me a bit harder to pull it off 12 times in a row. Especially on the very first wall-ride - it's the easiest one to do, but even easier to miss the checkpoint on which is very frustrating... Whatever it takes, I just want to do 12 wall-rides in a row, never mind the final time :-) Thanks for the advice though, it's always welcomed, especially that you are the man when it comes to East Coast :D

I know it's kinda impossible on PS4 as you guys unfortunately have more modders :/ This one and Maze Bank Ascent are the only two car races I appear on, even though I hold majority of records on xbox. Luckily there still are bike races, nobody even wants to cheat them so it shows me in almost every of them haha

Notice he is devoid of jumps or if he did, the landings are as gradual as possible. He even slows down prior to jumps to alter his tragectory. The landing tragectory must be as flat as possible.

haha it all depends on the situation you are in. when you are far behind everyone, you are like "I don't care anymore. I might not finish it, but as long as I have fastest lap time, I consider myself as a winner"; then you slowly start catching them up, so you are more like "alright, now I just gotta drive carefully and by the end of this lap I should have them overtaken" lol I know it's stupid haha
