      Hi, I have watched some of your videos and I have observed that there is a need for improvement in the editing of your videos I am a professional video editor and I can improve the editing of your TH-cam videos(by adding text animations, motion graphics, stock photos, stock videos, color grading transitions to your videos) that will keep your viewers engaged which will result in increased audience retention. Are you interested?

    Nice tips, merci. If I use the adapter for an M42 to X mount lens, should I set the focal length to what the lens says (50mm), or should I account for the crop factor? (50x1.6=80mm)? Should the length of the adapter also be added? (Sorry, newbie questions).

    • @ThierryGibralta
      @ThierryGibralta  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Always use the aps-c equivalent focal length, as this is relative to the sensor (so here 75mm, I believe it is 1.5x)
      That is if you use the adapter and not a speed booster

      You will not see your apaerture change on the screen. It will stay at f0 as the lens does not communicate with the lens. You will need to refer to the value on the lens

      You will need to assign your front command dial (for example) to ISO by going to SET UP -> Button Dial Settings and set the Command Dial to ISO

    Do I have to change to manual mode every time? Would leaving it on AF-S be any different other than not having the focus peaking tool? Just wondering because I don’t use focus peaking that much. Thanks.

      You don’t have too but I would suggest you to use focus peaking though. Although when not in manual mode some items of the menu might not be available

      @@ThierryGibralta Thanks again. I was not able to find this information anywhere and was just a bit concerned if the camera would behave differently if I just leave it in AF-S.

    Will it be the same process for a XT30?

      Pretty much, although you might not be able to name your lens profile
