I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Either tonight (November 24) or this Wednesday Night (November 27), John 6:25-35 will most likely be read in churches across the US holding Thanksgiving services. And here is hoping that everyone reading this has a Blessed Thanksgiving. And remember, if you enjoyed your meal, thank God, a farmer for growing it, and a truck driver for delivering it. And don't make fun of farmers with your mouth full of food. To me, that is an insult to both of my grandfathers, who farmed for a living.
