Saying not going to lie means you would normally lie. It's not a clever catch phrase it makes you appear untrustworthy. Also saying it twice in a row in the same comment is bizarre
Thanks for showing the fabrication and welding! People don't realize the preliminary work involved in dry dock making improvements and just getting ready to mine. 100 times better than watching the Discovery channel Bering Sea gold show!
I stopped watching Bearing sold gold because of the fake / manufactured drama. This is way better. I really appreciate the effort going into making these and how nothing seems to be dramatic for no reason
Thank you Emily and crew! My 1st episode on the day of release, after binge watching to get up to date, and wanted to say congratulations all around! Watched Emily's 1st day on BSG, and the 1st 2 seasons, but relocating and cost of living, no satellite or cable, so i lost viewing ability! Kinda glad Pauly posted on his channel, and informed me of your channel, and the strides you've put behind, to get here! Keep riding the waves Emily, and the crew of the Eroica, and keep the golden dreams flowing over that sluice!
YVW! Always been interested in the geological forces and the riches they produce! Too many channels to surf for the solid ones, so I have to do the grapevine I've planted, and yours just sprouted! I keep saying one day I'll hit some of the known fields get get some powder/flakes, but need it to be sooner than later! My joints can still take it, but age is being cruel! 😉 Thanks again!
The last Ice Age ended @15,000 years ago, and as those gigantic sheets of ice melted, the sea level around the world ROSE @400'. That means the shorelines we see today were once much further out/lower. It makes sense that, once the shore/line minerals are depleted, going deeper/further out is the next viable option. Of course, deeper diving demands more skill and better equipment, but you folks are already WAY ahead of the curve (Even those gigantic dredging platforms are going to be left behind). Well done Capt.! Well done indeed!
Im so glad your still doing Videos. I look forwad to having my second morning coffee and seeing all the work and effort that goes into you venture. Best of luck
Emily, while drydocked, cut down on future corrosion of the Eroica's hulls, coat each hull with truck bedliner, at least up to the water line. It's cheap and will protect against minor punctures.❤
Chur Riedel, watching your content at present, sorting out the boat to be little more efficient and effective prior to mining and welding fabrication going on with the men, absolutely top notch,as I'm an engineer myself here down under in little New Zealand, keep it Riedel you rock, kiwi likes👌
@@abackimages5351 Surely there has to be Oxygen up there? What about Oxygen/Acetylene welding equipment for instance? I bit of a fuff to set up a working system though. You would need prefilled and checked cylinders onboard and probably could not use the compressor. But the benefits? Oh my, you would double those 140 minutes and come very close to what they´re used to at 30ft.
Nice job Emily! Makes you wonder how much less drama there would be if all the other Bering Sea Gold Miners left Discovery and created their own channels? Prefer it without all the manipulated drama! Thanks Emily and all the great support that makes it possible!
Im excited every time I see your next video is up. Great work you guys. Been a fan from the start. I even waatch each of your eisodes twice, from star to finish.. So keep them coming and we wish you, Emily, and your extended gold family all the success you deserve. Based on your hard work and genius mind in gold mining under water. From your Indigenous friends to the North ;)
Time to invest in a long reach cutter head dredge. Backhoes on a barge are gonna run out of ground too. I'm wondering if you dredged deeper in the substrate if there are other pay layers you all never got to ? Try punching some ten foot holes and testing, maybe that's the way.
@@danrainwater3528 Oh, ancient clay is never good. Got it. We run into blue boulder clay at times river mining, and there is gravel under it at times. How that happens I have no idea but I do rivers that were subject to glaciation which I think is the reason.
We have red diesel here in American states that is cheaper than the green diesel because you're not using it for transportation. Exactly the same diesel just red dye because it's taxed differently
Emily, what you and the team are doing is nothing short of incredible. We’d never get content like this on TV, and this is exactly what we all want to see! Keep up the good work 👍🏻 P.S, let us know when you can ship pay dirt to the UK, if it’s ever possible.
I always remember 60’ for 60 minute dive chart time. Got my certification at 16 in warm waters off coast of Oahu! One of greatest dives in Hawaii is going to LANAI (FKA) and diving the “cathedrals.” Like diving inside a church or cathedral and getting the “stained glass effects” as you feel like you are in large and tall elevator chamber and decend and ascend-it is cool! You Emily would truly enjoy the “recreational style” of diving.

How much gold moves back into mined areas after a large storm like the one we viewed in one of the recent season of BSG? I mean, I realize it’s not a huge amount. But each time an event happens like that. It must accelerate the uncovering of previous gold sitting deep in silt and clay .
I think not enough to justify continuing after you find it. These guys find gold everywhere in Nome, but you must get it faster than it costs you to mine it. So it depends on the concentration of the deposits you're exploiting. ❤
Hi Emily, really link ng the format of the show with behind the scenes is brilliant! Watching the repairs and explaining the issue of maintenance is important. We never got to see this side of operations on the discovery network. That why I much prefer channels like this one. Emily you need a unmanned dredge system like the Kelly's had which in the proper hands can pull gold out of deep areas while the team still look around for the pockets are diveable areas
Looks like a good boat and crew. Best wishes on a great season. The new format is good, and the production seems quite professional. I guess you were taking good notes from the Bering Sea Gold crew.
It sounds that the only way to get to better full day depths is to go with gas mixes or even go robotic and eliminate the diver. 42 ft is so shallow for short dives but problematic for long dives. As a recreational diver who fas been to 200ft, it is easy to forget that even 30ft can be an issue.
