I get that, but Bronze to Masters challenges is decent promotion and also it checks that the MMR system works. Better players should rise. That said, in Bronze trying out meme builds and adding personal challenges to handicap the streamer might keep matches from feeling too busted while progressing.
@@JackXombi I would agree with you if not for the fact they already have thousands of people playing ranked every day. It's data and statistics they already receive 24/7. But now one of the top players in the world gets to stomp on those who are actually trying their best in those ranks because the company itself gave him a boosted account. It will ruin their experience, albeit for just the few games they get matched with him. It's still unfair for them. Perhaps everyone should start emailing HiRez for new and freely levelled accounts so we can all face-roll new players. It just doesn't seem like good practice. Just my 2c.
But yes, adding some challenges to the mix would make it more entertaining and probably give these players a small chance.
@@dansullivan8 I think the free boosted account from Hi-Rez is a little weird, but I do agree that bronze-masters is good content, and proves that if you belong in masters you’ll get there relatively quickly. Hi-Rez knows their system works, but majority of players hardstuck in a certain rank feel like they always deserve higher and it’s their teams fault they lose. This is a good showcase for them, because they do not have the statistics at their disposal like Hi-Rez does .
That's the #1 reason why ranked is so hard for me to grind. Start out low and toxic AF.

Hey Sam, if you read this you should try to turn on your own health bar in the hud setting and then turn the opacity down so it's transparent. This just helps with micromanaging your health alot and I can't even play without it tbh

I have a series recommendation. In my Overwatch days I use to watch a youtuber and he had people from different ranks send him a video of their game and he would analyze and give feedback on what they did good/bad and what he would have done differently. Hope to see the videos 😁

I think this is a great idea IF you don't "skip" recordings. You should have this be a full recording that way when people use the phrases "Elo Hell" you can just refer them to the series.

As someone who is quite decent at conquest (solo, jungle, support really. Ok carry, not amazing at mid either), it’s so frustrating playing in those lower lobbies because the people who are bad/new sometimes refuse to learn or acknowledge help and just hold everyone down
Definitely not great by any means, just saying I’m not like absolutely awful at the game

You can turn off the Conquest "Guide" while in the god selection screen
The symbols on your map were the guide for new players just hit escape then go to the guide menu :)

Tbf to many new players who are in bronze etc: The game does a terrible job explaining of how to play conquest and Smite in general. Imo there should be a quick tutorial showing the early rotations, the roles (and their common builds) and kind of how to transition from early game to mid game and to late game.
