SOLD!!! I've been trialing this for 30 days and I'm a week in and I already feel like you have solved 90% of the issues I have with LR... I will be purchasing your software this next week.
Interesting and useful, given I just upgraded and haven’t had a chance to wring it out yet. Your tutorials have always been outstanding. Haven’t seen you in a while, hope you will be back more frequently. Thank you!
Hello Twobarpsi, DxO PhotoLab currently doesn’t support HDR merging. However, we appreciate your feedback and will consider it for future updates! Best regards, The DxO Team
Very snappy and useful presentation especially for new users! Appreciated - but I would need to watch it a few times as a lot to digest! I would like to see a more detailed video on masking. And why is it nobody talks about the (underwhelming) Print Module????
Can you use multiple monitors with PL8 and have the image you're working on on one screen, your workspace on another, and maybe the photo library on a third screen? How do you do that?

I found the answer to just one one those questions: while you are working in the "Customize" Workspace, you can go to "View" --> "Undock Image Browser" and make the Image Browser use the full extent of the monitor you want. But I'd also like to know how to isolate the picture I'm working on in a separate monitor. Hope it helps!
Why doesn't anyone say anything about this software flaw. Every time I move any slider, the image is temporarily blurred, making it impossible to control the process. After each move of the slider I am forced to make further adjustments o check the result. This flaw disqualifies the program completely for me.
Hello, The temporary blur you’re experiencing when moving sliders is due to how the program prioritizes real-time performance while applying adjustments. It’s designed to speed up responsiveness during edits, but we understand this can be disruptive. Kind regards, The DxO team.
Yes. Infuriating, isn't it? Do you know how to move about in the image when zoomed in (on Windows), please? I often need to do this and haven't discovered any key combination that produces the "hand/palm"
Yes, for photographers with limited passion. Be sure to test it for 30 days before you get brainwashed from the typical hyping following each new release. You may too late find out, that the masking system sucks compared with e.g. the free Darktable.
Yeah, I fell for the hype, but I have found it a valuable tool in my workflow: Canon EOS Utility for import => Canon Photo Professional 4 for color some focus stacking => DXO exposure, color, denoise => Darktable masks, color => DXO apply to whole stack => Helicon Focus => Darktable
@@EdwardKilner Why is PhotoLab8 still showing a partial screen with the noise reduction tool (earlier it had the size of a post stamp, now like a postcard), while DxO PureRAW shows a full screen preview? Great tips. Saving this to re-watch in the future.
Super useful video. Thanks 🙂 Will have to watch it a couple more times for it all to sink in.

This is a really helpful video, thanks - lots of great tips, concise and very clearly presented.
Very Useful! As a PL user for 5 years I learned some useful tricks!!
Thanks
Thanks so much for this video--it's a great summary!
Excellent! Can it do HDR merging?

Schade, ich komme leider nicht ganz mit. Ich hoffe, ihr findet bald ein paar deutsche ambassadore...
Ich bin hier für dich!
Leider bin ich zu beschäftig zu übersetzen. 😅.
Viele Grüße aus Minneapolis !!
If only PL8 fully supported Fujifilm X trans sensors!

Maybe your computer is lagging?

yet again UI for OSX is different from Windows - top toolbar on Windows does not have palm tool

It’s still my choice, has been for over a decade.

And what, in your opinion, unleashes the limited photographers passion..?
