It's weird. I've had family members die. And many other celebrities that I adored along the way pass. Some I knew much much better than I knew Mac. I'd listen to his songs here and there. Always thought he was good. But never was a fanboy or anything. For some odd reason. His death hit me harder than any other death I've experienced. Theres just something really beautiful about his spirit that I can't really put into words.

I feel this. I liked his music but I never got super into it and he passed, so I decided I would give his music a shot. Now I sit here disappointed and saddened that I'll never hear anything new. He was truly amazing, and I don't think there will ever be a time where his music doesn't bring me comfort and happiness. R.I.P Mac.

What hurts the most about it for me, is that I absolutely loved how he developed as an artist and person. Some of my favorite music came from Mac during 2011-2015. I would give anything to be there in person and get to be with him while he worked his magic. I love his old stuff for good vibes, but I'm not much of a party guy, I wanna hear the deep, trippy beats and bars.
