étant pur kongolais j'ai la chair de poules. munianga de pur sang. c'est comme si je me retrouvais au village. admirez la vraie danse traditionnelle manianga. c'est fantastique
This group is in Kongo-brazzaville,but this culture is one in the space kongo ( brazzaville and kinshasa). The kongo people has one traditionnal, culture and language. In my village ( congo kin), we sing and dance like this.
Thanks for publishing this video. I love watching and learning about African cultures! I'm an African American who happened upon this video. This was a wonderful find. Please excuse my lack of knowledge, but is this Congo-Brazzaville or Congo-Kinshasha. Also, what is the name of this dance or these dances and is this dance (or these dances) traditionally performed for at certain times or for certain purposes? Although I don't speak or read French, if anyone responds in French I can use Google translate to get the English meaning. Thanks again!
Azizi Powell the group is from Congo Brazzaville, however they are performing a traditional dance from the Kongo tribe. And you find people from the Kongo tribe in Congo Brazzaville, Congo Kinshasa, and Angola. Thus, you can come across a group from Angola who perform with the same rhythm because they all have the same culture despite being from different countries.
Azizi Powell the dances are performed for any occasions. it can be a joyful or sad occasion. The dance will be slightly the same, but the lyrics will change according to the occasion.
Vraiment super merci❤😍😍😚😚😚
