this song is a misture of two languages. First one is hajong. And second one is Bengali. As 99 percent people of Bangladesh are the bengali ethnic group ,it is our first language, And Hajong is a language of a tribal group of our country. 21st Fabruary is the International Mother Language Day, we sacrificed our lives in 1952 for our language and later in 1999 UNESCO recongnised it and its now celebrated all over the world. So in the month of language we paid tribute to our minorities and its a song mixing hajong and bangla folk. Loved your react very much, looking forward to more 😊

I disagree respectfully. Not all citizens of BD are not ethnically bangalis. Chittagonians, Sylhetis, residents of hill tracts & tribes in the frontier regions are not Bangalee. We speak different languages - not your canonical bangla. Perhaps the western half of the country can be considered Bangla-speaking, the eastern half has more linguistic diversities.

The Hajong community is one of the other indigenous communities in Bangladesh. Indigenous people of Hajong Plain in Bangladesh. The Hajong community has its own language, known as the Hajong language. For example: - How are you? The word " kingka ase" comes from Hajong language. The Hajongs have their own culture, songs, folklore, and even contributed to the anti-British movement and Tangko movement . Our Hajong community has a history of heroism like Hajong Mata Rashimoni, a song about protecting a woman from danger.During the war of liberation and Hajong had a contribution. There is also variety in the traditional clothing of Hajong. The Hajong community is mainly engaged in agriculture. The people of Hajong community are Hindus. Take love from Hajong tribe community. 💜💜💜🙏

    (Dancing dancing )
    Hey! Nasek Nasek
    (Hey! Dancing dancing )
The agrarian society of the Hajongs. That is why there are various rituals around agricultural work in Hajong society, In the past, the Hajong headmen's house was well-developed. At that time they do Pek Khela(Mud game) , Puilau Rua( The first paddy planting), Shesh Rua (Last paddy planting), So these songs do not become such a practice. Puilau Rua means the first day when rice seedlings are sown in the paddy field of Headman. On that day, everyone in the village, including Headman, who went to sow paddy in the field, started playing Pek Khila (Mud game). One makes the other muddy, the women make the other muddy with the sound of the owl, creating a happy atmosphere. The Hajong women, who had come to sow paddy in the house of the maids of the Headman house, smeared the mud that had been brought from the land on that day by filling jugs, incense, and wished good luck with the sound of ulu. Children, teenagers, young girls, women, men all wear that mud, wishing that the harvest of Headman house will be good in the coming years.

Well, the song is actually a fusion of Hagong (a tribal language of northern Bangladesh) and Bangla . Here, 'Nasek' means 'Let's Dance'. February is the month of International Mother Language day and Bangladeshi are only nation who sacrifice their life for mother language in 21 Feb. 1952.So, the coke studio Bangla paid respect to the multi-cultural languages that are present in Bangladesh. To make the songs comprehensible for non-Bengali viewers like you, Coke studio Bangla also enable the accessibility of English subtitle.

Well, the song is actually a fusion of Hajong (a tribal
language of northern Bangladesh) and Bangla .
Here, 'Nasek' part is sung by 'Animesh Roy' in Hajong language and the 'nasek' means 'Let's Dance'. As February is the month of International
Mother Language day and Bangladeshi are only nation who sacrifice their life for mother language in 21th February in 1952. So, the coke studio Bangla paid respect to the multi-cultural languages that are present in Bangladesh.
And the other part is in sweetest bangla language and song name 'Dol Dol Doloni" is sung by 'Pantho Kanai' which sparks the real magic of Festival celebration in Bangladesh.
To make the songs comprehensible for non-Bengali viewers like you, Coke Studio Bangla also enable the accessibility of English subtitle.

They have provided official caption for this song. I highly recommended watching the video with that subtitle to get a full sense of the lyrics. I believe selecting the language Bangla will give you proper subtitle as it comes with English subtitle attached with it as part of the official subtitle.

Please explore more Bangladeshi 🇧🇩🇧🇩 folk songs. You can watch WIND OF CHANGE, a similar program like Coke Studio Bangla. They have been working on Bangladeshi songs for quite a few years. You will love it. Best wishes from Bangladesh ❤️💖🇧🇩.
