How did you get that interpretation? This is clearly a song about a depressed woman realizing her only salvation in life is to dedicate herself to skepticism, science and reason. The Lord in this case is the collective conscious of the scientists and philosophers throughout history that improved our well being significantly. For instance the medicines that are made to treat various illness literally drown sorrows and relieve the burden of the illness. And skepticism embowers people to think and be more like themselves and not rely on the logically fallacious ideas of others.

Oh, my gosh!! There is so much energy in this! I can't just listen, I have to watch it too because everyone is giving 1000% to this track and it's great to watch. And I have to watch it back-to-back at least 5 times while getting ready for work, and at a certain point throughout the day because the song won't let go of me. Just EXCELLENT!
You know how people ask that question 'what do you want to do/where you would like to be in 5 years?' my answer is playing in a band like this, with musicians who connect and enjoy the music as much as these guys.
