i didnt know i could just go into any building until i saw this vlog so tysm im gonna be hitting up the mgmt building for a studycore lifestyle after this inter semester break
I'm a second year high school student in Türkiye and my goal is to study university abroad as a psychology student just like you! And I'm doing my research about the universities atm, and your videos about uni helped me a lot with getting my mind clear about certain things like what I would like my uni to have (definitely a 24/7 open library) Thank you so much!! Also your videos in general are so calming to watch. Keep going!
hiii could you make a video on how u wrote ur personal statement what u include etc and not include specifically for psychology and potentially show us ur personal statement if you don’t mind
So im doing psychology in uni rn and id say use the ucas personal statement builder it helps so much as it gives u prompts to think about which all relates to the the course u want to do as well as gives u a good structure. So think about why u want to study that course and what first interested u to it. You can go on a uni that ur interested in and look at the modules and maybe pick an area on there that u can talk about. If you dont currently do Psychology as i didint either, mention that you did ur own further research on (an area of psychology) which shows that your committed and dedicated to learning more about the course and you actually do have a passion for it (dont mention the word passion). This can include books, studies that you've read, even podcasts literally anything. When you mention if any of your current subjects link to the course that you want to do go in detail of what you've gained from them, any skills. You can write ur conclusions in a lot of ways but the way that i did mine was talk about how after my degree the knowledge and skills that i would gain from the course would allow me to apply them to obtaining a masters (in the course that i want to do). Hopefully this helps u a little bit more.
For your main body, I’d advise to academic subjects and how that relates to psychology, if you are doing psychology at a level, what parts did you enjoy? Why do you want to study psychology further? Make sure everything you talk links to studying psychology eg how do academic subjects links to psychology. For example in my ps I mentioned about geography independent investigation and linked it to research design, planning and data collection/analysis in psychology. A good idea might be to look at your teacher references to draw some inspiration. Hope this helps, and best of luck:)
