I don't watch CCC MOVIE'S, as often as I would like: I'm hooked on, Elementary particles, and the "Multiverse," and anything Scientific or Philosophical. When I do watch these great olè movies from a bygone era I'm reminded how much simpler things were, from annoying doorbells' to the Porkpie Hat's almost everyone wore (I think they were called Porkpie Hat's? Don't Quote Please) to just about everything. Thank's again for these Classics.
@cat magic It was the crazy name that led them to make fun of her in those Tonight Show spoofs on old films. Art Fern (Carson), the host of the Teatime Movies, would promote some ficticious film that was supposedly being shown, listing real 30's and 40's film stars....eg, "we return to Zasu Pitts, Sabu, Fay Wray and Rex the Wonder Dog in King Kong Gets a Driver's License" or some such silly thing. The men who were mostly boys then barely noticed that because Carson had the beautiful and very buxom Carol Wayne there as the uber-dumb blond co-host.
ZaSu Pitts last role was switchboard operator in It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. She was halarious in many movies. I find it sad that many people don't remember her. She was a natural comedian!

When I worked at the Federal Hotel in San Francisco now Aida in the late 70s one of your guests was Mr. Shane. He said he was Zasus cousin. His mother and Zasus were sisters.
Keith Harvey Chenille is a fabric that had tufts of shaggy fibres in rows to a design for bedspreads back 80-60 years ago. It was thin cotton but the tufts of shaggy fibres made them warm. We cannot get it these days. Hand made was part of regular trade back then too.
Just hilarious ! I love Zasu Pitts. Thanks for sharing.

Thank-you. Feel good movies of this quality are always welcome.📽
I can’t buy Chenille anymore. It seemed warmer and cuddly soft.
English please?

Pourquoi jamais de traduction en Français ?:(((
Pretty cool that most every person in this movie is now dead in 2021. That's the way it goes
Was this before or after she did the Hildegard Withers movie, “The Plot Thickens”?
This was ‘42, the Withers movie was ‘36
