MartiniScreamz it’s mostly Danny they hate not the band. A lot of people who listen to this kind of genres expects everything to be “heavy” but since Danny can’t scream like he used to they have to tone it down a bit and as you just heard off their recent self titled album it’s nothing like the others. Without Danny, let’s just say if Dennis was still with them, they would still be doing some heavy stuff like ‘The Black’. I love Asking regardless but it’s not the entire band they hate, it’s just Danny. 😪
@@terrillt1998 They didn't write a heavy album because they didn't want to write a heavy album. Honestly, the new album is probably one of their best and is a strong way to establish that Danny is back. It may not be your usual AA album but it is great because of that. It shows they can be more than just a heavy band. Also, Eve is probably one of their heaviest song to date and shows Danny can still scream good (although their recent live shows aound like he has exhausted himself).

Makale Soederhuysen Uhh, it's not just thrash metal fans. Most black metal and death metal fans don't like metalcore. Now I'm a fan of those genres, but I don't mind asking alexandria. There are however better metalcore bands like As I lay dying, Parkway Drive etc.

Who cares? If someone wants to be an elitist, let them be. I personally don't mind these guys though there are better metalcore bands out there like Parkway Drive, As I lay dying, Killswitch Engage etc.
Even though I am not an elitist anymore, I still think it's a good thing because you are more likely gonna find a really good band in that genre because you spent your tine focusing on one genre.
