This tobacco grew on me over time. It’s so different…kind of swampy and dank…but I can’t stop thinking about it and wanting to smell it. For me, I think I need to have it.
I just tried Tabac Tabou and Musk tonka. Tabac Tabou was the winner for me. Mainly with the dried down after hours of wearing it. It's an easy perfume to wear yes , I agree. Compare to Musk Tonka is a more challenging perfume. It is Always nice to watch your video thank you.
One of my favourites from from on my favourite houses, beautiful, warm and rich. If you haven’t yet tried their immortelle corse you really must, also wonderfully warm with a slight sweetness up top.
I certainly will sample this, it sounds like I would enjoy it. I loved your description of narcissus, that warm waxy yellow is what I get with Ostara from Penhaligons and yesterday I wore Je Reviens parfum which also has narcissus in it and it has that slight dirty indol which hints at skin come through in it, so good💛
Just sampled the Extrait: Ténéré by Paco Rabanne immediately came to mind. I find this more wearable than Ténéré, less say "brash"... wife reminisced on Kouros Fraicheur, but the honey drove us both closer to Rabanne and perhaps Puig's Sybaris... not as fresh as Jazz Prestige (not a true tabac, though) or synonymous with T.Habanero. The salty skin musk you speak of does resound... perhaps closer to Cuir Andalou in that respect(?) Thank you for turning me onto this house, Pep! Own and love Le Cri, Corsica Furiosa, and Azemour Les Orangers so far. This may be my next purchase!
I only have a travel spray of this one. Got it from Olfactif when they were having a sale. I really do enjoy this one. I have Aura Maris Lorenzo Villoresi, which has narcissus, but they are completely different perfumes. I do enjoy both. I sampled Ostara by Penhaligon's, also narcissus, some time ago, and was worried about the opening, for it was certainly feminine, but I loved it after the opening. Penhaligon was in the process of discounting it and had it listed for $29 for a 50 ml. I tried getting 5 bottles, for I thought 4 of them would make excellent gifts, but they had sold out before I was done shopping. A simple lesson. When you get deals like that, just head to the checkout. The shipping would have been free anyway. BTW, I picked up Aura Maris for just under $40 some time ago. Glad I did. It, along with most perfumes has gone up. Thanks for the review Pep. PdE is a great house.
Oh just a couple of days ago I put several scents of this house on my 'to try wishlist' after having received a tester from the scent Equistrius. Thanks for this video, ça tombe bien, as the French say.
I just got a sample of this direct from the house, based on your description, they do sound the same. To me it smelt like band-aids I suppose from the narcissis and honey, and not much tobacco.. It strongly reminded me of some Hiram Green fragrances. But I do think this is a great house. I did a blind buy of Fougere Bengal, and really love it, though projection is light..
What does it written on? The bottle says Millesime 2020 on it when tried it. Interesting lovely opening turns clean music for hours and hours later which is just nice. Not sure if full bottle worthy.
@@CenkAkyol It's from a sample I just received directly from Parfum d'Empire. We all interpret smells differently, to me the scent reminds me of band-aids. Nothing wrong with that.
@meephead6636 it's really nice.. confronting in the opening but it dries down into something special.. I didn't like it when I used it but then I couldn't stop thinking about it so I sprayed the last of the tester and I was hooked.. it's really quality and expensive smelling...

Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed night.
Mine says Millesime 2020 on it. Nice opening turning clean musk for hours..i wished the opening was longer.
Great stuff Pep. Liking the dark attire too. 👍

@@ColeDano did I say clean music?:) musk. I found it sour at first but it grew on me. Wife loved. Still not sure if I need a bottle. Cheers
@@CenkAkyol lol.
I think my wife would like this one more too. :)
I just happened to pick up a bottle! Similar to you, Pep, I find much of the Parfum d'Empire lineup quite strong.
Great review, I wonder, have you tried Immortelle Corse, also by the same house?
No, i'd like to
I only own Cuir Ottoman. I believe I tested this it's a big boy tobacco if I remember.
👍
Doesn’t sound very good.. no offense.
