My grandfather was a German soldier General who fought with Hitler. He came from Germany to Veracruz, Mexico in 1936 where he met my grandmother Sofía, they got married and my mother was born in 1937. Her name was Irma and Irma in Germany means "Hope". In the Marriage reigistration he wrote Hermann Kühne as his name. When I Googled the name, it appears that it is a German Destroyer Boat of War. I don't know who he really was, but I thank him with my heart and soul because thanks of him I´m alive, and very proud of being his grandaughter.

I am adopted from Germany. I have been told that Germany does not allow dna testing. Is that true?
