They’re much tighter live. Frankly, I never care when they miss notes live because of the difficulty of everything they play. But gosh. It’s insane how tight this recording is.
I dunno if it’s the drums he’s playing or just that he has refined, and practiced his craft alot over the past few years. I definitely noticed a change: he has always been insanely good, but he has leveled up for sure. Matt is nuts.

I notice Matt's drumming became more relax and stable, I think it's because of the new drums. DW drums suited to his style.
I think his technique just keeps getting better and better with time.

It's a combination of his set and playing more, with two incredible musicians also helps
