I just finished winterizing my liveaboard.. a 2-week long process of moving dozens of bins and packs down a ladder, and pumping 12 bottles of glycol around various systems. You guys are doin' it right. When I bought my boat 7 years ago, I had every intention of cutting the lines. And yet, here I am, still in Ontario, still working to make her "perfect." Every year, just a bit older. Watching your adventures is so cathartic. :) Fair winds. And, coincidentally, you've all got some seriously graceful movement on rock.
Lovely episode! I could almost taste the cake! Maya is a brilliant, intuitive cook. She understands the physics and chemistry of what needs to go on, and ad libs with what is to hand! You guys have got into a peak state of fitness. That climbing sequence was awesome. I think the girls have more muscles than Dan though!!! And still in Majorca now, 7 months now, I think?

I have enjoyed watching Sailing Uma for several years and have watched almost all episodes. In the latest episode with Dan's friend Mya, Kika mentions that she (Mya) is the first overnight guest that they have had in many years. Well, that brought to mind, what happened to Sev. He helped out sailing for sometime during 2017-18, on Rio Dulce in Guatemala. He just seemed to disappear at some point. Can you give an update of what became of Sev. Comment failed to post.
I think we mentioned it in the video of leaving Guatemalla. But he had to stay behind to get his US visa. We were supposed to meet him in the USA and carry on across the Atlantic, but when we decided to slow down and cross next year, he found another sailboat to take him accross. He's in Germany now, working on a farm last time we heard.
I see you were reading Taylor Camp. I flew from home on Kauai to Sweden to sailing Mallorca and Ibiza about 6 years ago. Enjoy those spanish Mediterranean islands.. so different than our tropical islands. I'm sure Hawaii is on your list.
Wowww, Maya is awesome 💪 , and you guys are officially "3 the hard way", because all of you are multi-talented, and compliment each other. You guys rock 💪, thanks for sharing and safe travels 🙏
Hey Dan and Kika! You're nerdy enough you might like this guy who built a sailboat out of a smoke stack. His channel is called sailing SV pipe dream. He only has 300 subscribers but he's doing one of the more interesting things I've seen.
Wow! What an awesome video. I LOVED it, and the Anchorage is magnificent. I can’t even imagine what it would look like being there in real life. When Dan first jumped and it literally looked like he was in a saltwater swimming pool that was the coolest thing. PeaceAndLove Lori
Fun idea to sleep on the boom! I slept under the clear sky 3x, 2x in Marocco, 1x on a Gulet in Turkey. Always nice to see so many stars! The milkyway, satelites passing overhead. And waking at the crack of down is magical. Specially when someone brings you fresh hot Coffee!😉

I'm a big fan of both your channel and Project Atticus since the joint show(s) you aired years ago. Seeing you both circling the same locations in the Med. has me hoping to see you all link up again! :)
I think the reason why the anchor places and little harbours are not so full on saturdays an sundays is because its the time that many of the boats have to return to the charter base. Good to know for "ownwers". Have a great time!
That looked fun, but crowded. In midsummer my son and I drowe to Restaurante Es Vergeret in Cala Tuente som km to the west. Magnificent view and atmosphere, and relatively tourist free.
Love your "Don't Buy a Couch" t-shirt so much, I bought one and am wearing it in my latest YT thumbnail... with a link to your store provided. Thanks for getting it to me so soon!
What an enjoyable Step! It was nice to see Maya again. And that "tube bread" looked tasty. Yummmm. I just finished watching Project Atticus and who do you think I saw there? lol
Regarding the crowded anchor spot on Monday: I would guess a lot of the additional sailing boats were chartes, which usually start on Saturday to Saturday. So they will stay in the harbour on weekends but are out on the most famous spots during the week
Love you guys so much. We have quite a bit of Uma merch, and share y'all with others. HOWEVER, the sponsor of this video is a well known and thoroughly documented scam. The land "purchase" isn't legal in Scotland. You can't get a title just by owning land (even if you actually owned land), and there is no evidence that the company actually plants anything. All you get for your money is a worthless pdf - unless you pay extra for a physical print. I know you need (and deserve) sponsorship, but please vet the offers before accepting them.
25:22.., Dan is a mastermind, he cuts 3 slices one of which is larger than the other two, he knows that the girls will not want to be seen as greedy bloaters so they will refuse the larger slice, leaving it for Dan.
In Europe, especially in the summer, there are many boats from sunday to friday, because charter boats change everywhere on saturdays. Rental is normally from saturday to saturday. And in Croatia, where we go, such crowd is normal in the summer. When you are near Slovenia and Croatia, if you want some advice, let me know! :)
