I literally bump into this video recently i have spent all day already finding your video super useful. you gave my study mojo back. am weak in this topic and all just made so much sense to me.
Thanks for these videos! As others have said, they have been super clear, straightforward, and way easier to understand than lots of other resources. I have a question about matching rules, are they only enforceable when manually creating? Say for example you import 1,000 records and 7 of them are duplicates, what tools would you use to either find these and flag them or prevent them in the first place? Thanks!
From my experience, preventing them is often done with the tool you are formatting the records with (Excel, Google Sheets, etc). However, I'm not aware of any way to check an Excel doc with records against the Salesforce matching rules. But cleaning and deduping should always be done prior to trying to import.
Yes, that's correct. When you subscribe to someone's dashboard in Salesforce, the data that you see in the dashboard will be limited to the data that you have access to based on your Salesforce permissions and data visibility settings.
