Man thanks for these eh.
3 years later and these are still helping people.
I bought a course on creating a social media app on android and the teacher isnt even 10% of what you are.
Just has me writing code and not explaining anything at all. Love your approach to teaching and the "why" behind it all.
Really making the course bearable.
i dont think that there is someone who can watch this tutorial without knowing whats a function is, that was a bit annoying, but its a good job! u are the new bucky roberts
your amazing to watch, please keep uploading more stuff
i swear.. if you changed your shirt specifically for this episode... you are just too good at this.
i love this guy
I've learned Java so this was easy to me, but it was a great opportunity to go over it. thx!
You're amazing at this, Caleb! Seriously good job. You're funny! I laugh and laugh and come out having learnt more. Noice!
AMAZING!
made it to tutorial 15. I already learned java and was always wondering how the method can be connected to the app that we're using. now I understand. :)
Awasome bro
Do you know any good textbooks to read this alongside of? I want to start this series once I finish my Data structures class
Hi, Caleb. Could you please film a video about building blocks? Let's say to create an application that has:
1. Activity 1: An activity that allows user to enter name, gender, date of birth, state of residence (selected from a pre-defined list : CA, AZ, NV, OR), email address and favorite website. This activity also has a button "Show Data" that displays detail entered on Activity2.
2. Activity 2: Data entered by user in activity 1; email address and favorite website should have contextual links. This activity has a button "Add to Contact" that adds the data entered by user as a new contact. (Hint: use Contact intent - developer.android.com/training/contacts-provider/modify-data)
(Links to an external site.)
Note: Be creative when you design your form, try to use controls based on type of data that needs to be entered.
