Hello Mam, I had normal vaginal delivery on 16/8 but on 15/9 doctor restitched my episiotomy wound due to fistula formation. Mam it's been 1month after restitching. The wound does not healed properly. While walikng n sitting I feel no pain but on pressing that area I feel a little pain n after washing with water I have seen yellow amber coloured fluid on cotton. Mam the pain is not increasing but my wound is taking so much time for healing. And sometime I found small bowl on that area. Mam is this normal after episiotomy or sign of complication

Mam I have heard some hospitals are not giving local anesthesia before episiotomy.If that happens will it be painful during cut and also during stitches?Or is it compulsory to give local anesthesia before episiotomy? Or some patients don't know they have given anesthesia or not.?kindly clarify my doubt Mam?
I don't think anesthesia is given before epistomy. I had my two normal deliveries 1 st I deliver 6 year before in mumbai and my 2 nd child just 20 days before in Chennai and both hospitals are the reputed hospital and with the best gynec. And in both deliveries anesthesia was not given ,as labor pain is so unbearable that you will not feel the cut. And during stiches you will feel mild discomfort. Very mild, so don't worry lady enjoy your pregnancy.
Cipladine oinment and betadine powder will be useful to get relief of your pain gently clean the surface with warm water and dry the surface and apply oinment and powder before going to bed

Always turn one side and try to get up ...as your weeks increases your pelvic bone will expand so mild dicomvfort will be there ,if the pain is severe pls consult a doctor

Enaku kosha hospital la first baby ku episotomy cut pana same places la 2 baby kum cut panadhala pain adhikama irundhuchu. first baby ku take care pana alavuku 2nd baby ku care panala hospital la. Private la stitches kadi heal aga tablet ointment thandhanga. 3 month agudhu Ipo heal agiduchu but sometimes am getting pain and disturbance ah feel pandren. Tel me wat to do.

Always turn one side and try to get up ...as your weeks increases your pelvic bone will expand so mild dicomvfort will be there ,if the pain is severe pls consult a doctor
