Kaimi & D won this one ! Last week it was Mixon. This is what really good teams do. Offense is still rusty so you find other ways to win. A ugly win is the same as a 24pt blowout !
I don't get how you & Landry come to the RB performance gage. Or the gauging. In years past, we could not run on the weakest defense. So that is an improvement. As it pertains to the Colts. I think the run game was decent, to keep the bears honest.Yet I do agree that I was looking for a more dominant performance in all areas.
Here’s my thoughts: -Offense during the 2nd half stalled a lot, a lot of credit to the bears defense, but also there weren’t any motions or misdirections there. -Defense was spectacular, but I’m really most impressed with Henry T last two weeks. -Fairbairn easily a top 8 kicker right now, he’s won us 2 games. -penalties was a negative, but you want to see that cleaned up as the season progresses. -tank has had a slow start, but it seems like their using him as a gadget player? He’s better than that. -Pass Protection is a concern. Especially when we go up against some elite pass rushes. -at the end of the day, it’s hard to win in this league and we definitely have the talent to go far, the great teams find ways to win and dominate
I don’t know why people are acting so surprised that it was tough offensively. This Bears defense was very strong last year and should definitely be better this year.
if your a true Texans fan you have to believe in your team that they will win I believe just like last season the Texans are only going to get better. die hard fan here Texans SWARM GO TEXANS
Exactly, Tunsil is really pissing me off! He kills at least 1 drive a game with his false starts. You’d think playing at home and knowing the snap count would clean that up, but nope.
Way to many o-line penalties they have to clean that up moving forward. CJ had the game won when he scrambled late in the fourth for a first down. Tytus Howard illegal hands to the face ruined it tho, they must be better.
Not that I am questioning your judgment, but If Baltimore were a great team they would have win their first and second game? If KC were a great team, they should have put away Cinci?....IDK....I think the little offense our Team put up today gave us the win, however realistically the Defense won this game. I guess my point is that a win here is a statement on itself. Every team has their shot at redemption every week. Your dead on T3's usage. Kaimi, Giant. Again relay your tips to Bobby and Ryans.
Very vanilla playcalling on offense. Slowik is overrated. The number of flags thrown was atrocious. Especially considering all of the missed holding calls on Will Anderson. A blatant hip drop tackle on Mixon was a no call. NFL really needs to put a limit on the number of flags that can be thrown per half. Cut back on ticky tack calls!
@enviedeveryday2835 I didn't say to get rid of flags completely. There were MANY missed calls today. Even with the excessive number of flags thrown. It should be 10 flags per half for the team of refs.
First the NFL said they would not be throwing flags to enforce hip drops as much as they would be fining players for those plays. Secondly we got away with a big one as Al Shaiir doesn’t get called for throwing a punch, let alone ejected. They called more holding on the Bears than Texans. We should be complaining about our LT averaging 2 false starts and killing 2 TD drives the past 2 games. As to Slowik being overrated….we faced a good defense and won. He had it dialed up we simply did not execute. Tank drops a for sure TD, the defense got pressure and Stroud missed some throws as a result. We showed we still have issues with the running game. Flags didn’t make Akers fumble at the goal line. Look at the bright side, we won a close game that we probably lost last year. The mark of a good team is finding a way to win in close games, we are 2-0 this year.

Kicked them to a win!
Thanks to the defense! Horrible offense no running after 160? And 12 penalties?! Gotta clean it up.
Yeah it was messy that’s for sure.
I almost felt bad for Caleb 🤣. Player of the game is……Bears DB Stevenson who literally poked the bear and pissed Nico off! 🤣🤣🤣
Literally as in he literally poked an actual bear or literally as in we don’t know what literally means😂😂😂
He was getting BEAT UP
@@HoustonJP As in Nico was the bear and he straight mauled their asses all the way to the end zone on that TD catch and after 🤣
Great Defensive win Cody 🤘🏿 some things to clean up, but this is a great start to the season 💯
D def made it work
Cam Akers made this game much closer than it needed to be
Can’t fumble

Yeah def left too much on the table.
Azeez also had a nice punch
Mike Tyson-like
I say it every year… We got a kicker!..
It used to be a joke, but not now!.. He’s an asset..
He’s a certified WEAPON
Also Henry to’oTo’o run defense was incredible
He BALLED out.
The Texans really love to play to their opponents' potential, and it's getting really frustrating.
Need a good squad on the schedule.

O got to get that all fixed
Henry balling
KF kicking his butt off
I don’t like the Tank usage.
It’s like the Texans move the ball better when a harder opponent is at hand
The bears secondary is a lot better than the colts
Playing to their comp?
@@adrianmedina8456 they always have long as I can remember
I don’t know why people are acting so surprised that it was tough offensively. This Bears defense was very strong last year and should definitely be better this year.
Good Bears indeed
Tank drop several balls yesterday’s
Did he even catch a single pass?
Needed to pull in that one for sure.
Tunsil is on pace for 34 false starts 😂
That has to be a record.
@@codystoots1 😂
I felt bad for Caleb I could see how hard it was for him to finish out the game he was hurting
If he’s not on the injury report this week he’s amazing.
A win is a win, but If this is the best the Texans offense can do then they are in big big trouble.
I’d agree with that sentiment.
My takeaway is defense is looking great. Offense is struggling Bobby needs to step it up. Penalties were ridiculous gotta get better there
Bobby will fix it.
Patterson & Kenyon Green really struggled.
Yeah, but I think that may be a matter communication. Tytus on the other hand was on skates all night long in pass pro.
Yeah need to bounce back from that.
They would’ve put them away Cody if Cam Akers doesn’t fn fumble in the red zone
You’re corrext
I couldn’t enjoy the game due to listening to Collinsworth stroking Caleb Williams off all night!!!
If it’s warranted I don’t care but Caleb Williams did not play that well but you’d never know that with how they kept speaking about him.
Hahahaha he loved him some CW
The Vikings are going to roll over us
No they wont lol. It’ll be a good game.
if your a true Texans fan you have to believe in your team that they will win I believe just like last season the Texans are only going to get better. die hard fan here Texans SWARM GO TEXANS
Oh hell no!
If they hadnt taken away Lassiters other Int he would be leading the NFL :O
Oh my!
We can't have those penaltys against Minnesota going to have to play smart ball and play fast
Exactly, Tunsil is really pissing me off! He kills at least 1 drive a game with his false starts. You’d think playing at home and knowing the snap count would clean that up, but nope.
No doubt about that
Defense played well
Defense kicked ass
The defense balled out but they still had a chance to go win the game smh we have to be better. We’ll take the 2-0 tho
2-0 way better than 0-2!
Can Tunsil stop false starting? It’s ridiculous
He needs his 2 every game
That was not great!
We made Caleb Williams look silly out there look he got tired of getting beat up
He got crunched.
WUZ UP CODY. UGLY GAME BUT A WIN.
Ugly wins are still wins
How do they win idk they played better in every
Aspect of the game?
Why you got a attitude? Actin like a girl fr
They will clean it up.
He’s not getting out of bed
Roll out of bed haha

Must clean that up for sure.

This is a fair assessment.

Yeah but if they called no flags people will whine about non calls

Chicago was holding like a mf all game they was only throwing flags against Houston

Slowik overrated ??? Stop with that nonsense ! Offense is rusty because no one’s plays pre season…give the boys another week !
If they play like that vikings will win
Agreed
