Hi Polly! I can't say I've ever been, but I'd really recommend living on campus for first year because you're around people in the same position as you. There is also staff there to support you and campus security to keep you safe. The Oaks is a great place to stay in the following years.
Thank u Nilusha for a very informative video. Is it true that if you select Bluebell as one of your choices, you are not allowed to chose Cryfield as another option?
Never heard of that rule! I think there might be rules about picking ensuites e.g. when I applied you could only apply to max 3 ensuites and the rest had to be shared bathrooms! I think it would be very unusual if they have a rule like that! Don't worry though, when you submit your choices it will tell you what you can and can't pick in terms of little rules like this!
@@msnina3664 Just had a read up on the webpage and you're absolutely right. The current requirements for your 6 accommodation options are "You can only choose a maximum of 3 en suite options. Students can only choose one of either Arthur Vick or Jack Martin en suite, not both, and you are only able to select one preference from Cryfield Townhouses, Cryfield Apartments or Bluebell." Hope this helps!
I think it would be good but I'm not entirely sure if it would help! From my own experience, people i know who applied late ended up not getting one of their top choices.

I read this in the Allocation Policy

Thanks, Nilusha! Hope I could live in Heronbank or Lakeside... is it more likely to be considered if I submit my application early? (I am a graduate)
