I'm getting married in a month and I wish my father deserved to dance with me to this song, but that honor will go to my grandfather who can no longer walk. It was fairytale amazing. We were lucky enough to have his dementia be on the back burner for the most part that day. He held me so tight, tighter the than he's ever held me before.. and he held me pretty tight when my older sister who was 13 months older than me passed away unexpectedly 9 years ago. So he's held me pretty tight before. I don't think I've ever cried as much as I did that day but they were mostly happy tears. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house when we were dancing with each other and people were listening to the words to this song. We were able to get a bunch of pictures and a projector setup to play behind us on a screen, so it was even more sad than you can imagine, but also so beautiful. They write movies about stuff like this. It was unbelievable. Thank you so much for asking, and I think it's amazing that so many people liked my comment to begin with. Good bless you all!

When Camila was 7, she and her mother migrated to America with nothing but the clothes on their back. They had to be apart from her father for a whole year as he waited for a visa acceptance but it just wasn’t happening. Finally, he risked his life and swam across a river and travelled for days so their family could be together. Her parents worked so hard for the next years so she could have the opportunities she does, and it’s so beautiful how she is paying them back and making them proud and never letting the world forget how grateful she is for her parents ❤️

My dad passed away when I was 23. He always had such a hard time saying those three words. But I know now why it was so hard for him. His dad never said it to him. My dad had depression and PTSD from the Vietnam War practically his whole life and never recieved the help he needed. But he tried SO hard to show love in his own ways, and I know he loved me. And I love him, and I always will.

My Dad is so kind, supportive, loving, funny, considerate... even when I've made huge mistakes he's always been there for me like nobody else in my life.
