You’re not just a builder you are an artist, specially with some of the structure that you built don’t have a roof and you made the couch and the chairs clay,Mud straw, such magnificent art and The ones with the roof which by the way my husband is very familiar with these types of structures they used to have them in Trinidad 🇹🇹 it’s just beautiful artwork 🖼 you are so talented. Do It rain a lot in the area are you doing all this construction ? because there’s so much Green, and if so how do you stop the flooding from getting into the home that are built so low ? and some of your structures do not have roots ,so those are the ones that are probably just artwork, Either way the structures are magnificent and they’re beautiful do you have a lot of talent you are truly an artist.😍👩🏾🦲🥰

This video showed up in my suggestions and I was mesmerized. The craftsmanship and artistry was superb. I did worry about her toes when she chopped into the ground. I knew I'd smack my foot or loose a toe if I tried it.

When I got out of the Army at Fort Ord, I made a very small but comphy little underground shelter in Monterey, CA, no one knew I was there. It was fun being so close to the beach, hearing the waves and Whales sometimes.
I would never have been able to afford some fancey hotel room or to rent a house. I will find out if that mostly underground home still exists. I doubt it but it will be fun to find out. Maybe animals have enjoyed it and that would be great, I hope so.

If this were video filmed in real time it would take forever to watch. Of course it is speeded up. That doesn't negate the skill and imagination involved. The materials used make the job easier - lightweight bamboo, lianas and adobe-type soil. Humans adapt to whatever environment they encounter because they are creative by nature. This young woman is perfectly adapted to the world she lives in. Whether or not she accomplished this with help is beside the point. Her culture provided the skills she uses. Humans are social creatures.
She is so amazing. That instrument gets a little close to her foot. Yikes!

The material she uses is basically adobe. It won't dissolve once it has dried. I love her use of weaving, and she knows more knots than any girl scout I have ever met.
