Actually Vivziepop had a completely different story for Vaggie, but she liked the theories, and so she changed it up for that. She is basically mocking those who had the theory with Carmilla's lines about the X over the eye and the angelic spear making it obvious... because it should not. Originally she would have had been a prostitute, and agressive clients would have taken her eye and killed her.

I remember seeing this the first time. It was painful to watch seeing Charlie and Vaggie’s relationship strained in the following episode. Glad it got saved at the end.

I may feel bad for Vaggie for what happened to her but if you ask me, Heaven doesn't deserve an angel warrior like her, & look back & forward what one mistake she made, it brought out a lot of good into her life.

I just realized something. If Vaggie told and shown everyone she was an exorcist and why she was in hell in the first place. The court would’ve immediately ruled in Charlie’s favor.

"look at them fighting, they're at each other's throats!" - yet, at the end Sera did not just decide that there was no proof sinners can be redeemed, but despite scolding Adam for how he threated their guests, she still allowed him to attack directly the Hotel, thus go against the agreement between Heaven and Hell, about pardoning hellborn.

She is not wearing her mask. The mask covers up the right eye, the eye of affection (this is from a biblical verse that says the right eye needs to be plucked out in order not to allow it to weaken someone in their duty, or something of the short), thus allowing the exorcists to be remorseless killers. Since she did not wear it, she was not effected by this brainwashing. Who knows if this was the first time she did not wear her mask...
