That’s incorrect. The wings are still supporting the vast majority of the aircraft’s weight at that point. Look at how much of the shiny silver part of the strut is still showing. When the wings stops generating lift, the weight is transferred to the main gear, the strut compresses, the WOW (weight on wheels) switch closes, and all that happens when all 4 wheels on each bogie are carrying weight.
I guess we’re talking about smooth Korean landings today. With a focus on wheels, too.
