- In the latest episode of the IC Interviews podcast, Daniel Peris, a senior portfolio manager at Federated Hermes, discusses his new book, The Ownership Dividend, with IC associate editor Alex Newman.
The two discuss the backstory of The Ownership Dividend (what happens when interest rates go down for 40 years and what happens to investors when that stops?), the ephemeral nature of corporate dividends, dividends in the US and Meta, before turning to the UK and a look at Shell.

Kudos to IC for presenting this very interesting and timely discussion. Opened my eyes. Thank you ❤
The boards should be forced to pay out dividends. Buffett's hypocrisy on this isn't called out enough - smaller investors live on dividends, they can't wait five years to sell at opportune times. Meanwhile Buffett gets MONTHLY checks from his controlled businesses - real Houdini PR he pulled off there. Good guests, keep it up.
A lot of time CEO feel like they need to pay out even in a lot of dept they are in
