@niqabisis596 There is a correction that needs to be made to this video in regards with terminology. Instead of common noun it should be indefinite noun and proper noun should be definite noun. So using this: to make an indefinite noun such as 'baitun' definite you must take away one of the dammahs (absolving the tanween). Also, don't forget, you must add an alif-laam at the beginning. بيت becomes البيت.
@iArabicLearning Ta marbutah makes words (specifically nouns) feminine yes. But some words are feminine because that's the way Arabs called them (historically feminine), not actually feminine (like car - sayyarah سيارة). Others are historically masculine, like bayt بيت. So you can't add a ta marbutah after bayt and make it feminine. But you can add a ta marbutah on Sa'eed سعيد and make it سعيدة Sa'eedah (a woman's name). Brother actually for that house we are going to place another word before البیت and its ذٰلک actually the word that house grammatically is اسم اشارہ بعید so we will have to change composition a little bit. Now the word would be like ذٰلک البیت. Sounds exactly the same with the word ذٰلک الکتاب the first phrase of the second ayat of second surah of Quran.
This is really confusing for anyone who knows what a "proper noun" is. "Khalid" is a proper noun. "The dog" is NOT a proper noun. Can we be more careful with our terminology please?
